And in other team news, the Sharks have sprung a surprise by naming former Newcastle Knight Terrence Seu Seu in their 17-man squad to take on the Tigers.
Sacked by the Knights for an off-field indiscretion, Seu Seu has impressed Sharks officials in recent weeks while working on Toyota Stadium as a groundsman, as well as with his attitude to training and to resurrecting his career in the NRL, hence he has been afforded an opportunity with the Sharks.
In recent weeks he has been playing for the Southern Sydney Sharks in the Jim Beam Cup competition.
Seu Seu comes into the Sharks NRL squad in place of Kevin Kingston who is unavailable due to an ankle injury.
Seu Seu, De Gois and Kingston. Three don't go into two. If Seu Seu goes alright against the Tigers it'll be interesting to see if Kingston comes back in when fit. I think Seu Seu's just what we need to help spark our attack. I'd like to see Kingston gone, but he's the only one ut of three of them who's signed for next year.
