fmd this bloke ended up with our most running metres! AND made 26 tackles for no misses wtf! i rated his second half but didnt know he was THAT good in this game what an effort!

I mean first half i barely noticed him then he comes out second half possessed and makes super strong carries and looks a threat at and through the line and carries those roosters ****s on his chiseled physique . bloke is paid peanuts and has to fight for his spot week to week and he gives us this sort of output.
Massive heart, really like him.

Well done Scott Sorenson

doesn't get enough wraps for the season he is having. has been very good bar maybe 1 game and the threat he poses to the oppositions line is under rated

I have totally changed my mind about this guy. I wrote him off last year, but man, he has been a bit of a beast for us, particularly in the second half of this season

Deserves a contract extension.
He has played well for us when used.

Wouldn’t mind that if Graham isn’t back. If Graham is and Chad isn’t, it could be the best time to give Graham the 13. Throw Trindal on the left and Tracey on the right. Not a fan of the Tracey/Duges combo and i bet Duges isn’t either lol. Boy they’ve combined for some errors over the last 2 weeks. Would let Scott slot into the starting side too.

Tries harder than Nikora, not sure if Nikora is even playing better

Sorro is playing better and has been all year. even just look at the game against the roosters the metres he made, how he broke through the line, no missed tackles ect.

That's what I am trying to get across, we all know Sorro tries hard but he's better than just a goer or a squad filler , hes become a good player for us and deserves a starting 17 spot.

Having said that I will admit barring injury it is hard to fit him into the 13 but he absolutely deserves his bench spot over Jack Williams and he might even be better suited to the bench coming on in the middle or at lock after 20 mins or so opposed to 80 mins in the backrow where he may we less effective.

Deserves a contract and a bit of an upgrade $

Just signed with Penrith. I’m surprised we didn’t keep him considering it appeared Morris was a fan of him and he got plenty of game time. Probably just couldn’t fit him in.

NRL 2021: Penrith Panthers sign Scott Sorensen from Cronulla

Penrith have added some much-needed depth to their forward stocks following the departures of James Tamou and Zane Tetevano.

Penrith have replenished their forward stocks with the signing of former Sharks forward Scott Sorensen.

Without a club for 2021 after failing to be re-signed by the Sharks last season, the strong ball-runner has received a lifeline from the Panthers.

Sorensen met with Penrith coach Ivan Cleary on Friday before agreeing to the 12-month contract.

An edge or middle forward, the 27-year-old will add NRL quality depth to the Panthers forward pack following the departure of James Tamou to the Tigers and Zane Tetevano to the UK Super League.

Sorensen, the nephew of former Kiwi Test forwards Dane and Kurt, played 37 games for the Sharks and also appeared twice for the Raiders in 2017.

Glad he got another gig but yeah meh. Was good depth but he’s getting in the way of Wilton/Pele etc now.

Would have been good to keep him but glad he’s got a gig at least. Would have almost certainly played NRL for us during the coming season, hopefully gets some games with Panthers

Surprised we didn't keep him on the cheap. He often outplayed some of our regular forwards - looking at you Williams and Nikora.

Happy for the bloke. I remember when he came back here for his second stint there was some question marks around his future and the type of player he might become. I think he’s showed that he’s a solid consistent first grader since then. Hope he can impress next year and keep his career going past 2021
