Couldn't see a thread for this bloke, but I was impressed with him tonight, loved his passion. Could be a decent option for us going forward. I think he will get his chances now with Lewis unfortunately looking like he will be out for an extended period.

Didn't Sorenson score a try or make a very similar looking break and run in the trials? This guy will get heaps of confidence from tonight. Very promising.

How do you keep this bloke out?

Killed the trials, consistent in reserve grade and stepped up today. Serious game from him and so happy for him

If he keeps it up, once wadeo is back he can have Capewells bench spot

How do you keep him out?

Lewis, Gallen, Graham, Bukuya

Good player who deserved the call up and played great - but keep in mind that there are very few minutes available for a bench back rower in this team when everyone is fit. Other than today Capewell and Paulo have been playing 25 minutes tops and Capewell had played more minutes at centre/wing than back row.

Tend to agree. Don’t like Capewell’s stammering , jinking running. He’ s hit and spin is effective for a few extra meters but he loses too much speed and is wrapped up quickly. He’ll never get an open break doing that. Just play direct and run an angle ( except when doing the tough stuff coming out of our red zone- then the hit and spin gets us valuable meters)

Well considering they are all out for another couple of weeks I’d say he has a chance to play himself into the side.

Could take Capewells spot

You keep him for sure while those blokes are out. Capewell keeps the bench spot over him after that.

form dependant. I dont think Capewell should have a spot locked down for any reason. IMO the bench spots especially should always be open to the guys most deserving.

Honestly though, i see Lewis' calf as an injury that will keep him out for a good few weeks.
