Kato “looks” amazing with bouncing out of tackle left and right, gets a few more meters but the actual time from receiving the ball till he plays it again is to slow, it’s gives the rest of the defensive line an extra second or 2 to get up field and set.
Watch the hit ups that follow and you can see we are a better side following Stoney getting smashed over Kato “winning” the tackle.
Ramien is very similar to Katoa 2.

It's my feeling as well, but there could be some stats to tell us our eyes are deceiving us.

Hopefully next year he plays outside Gabrael, they had a good combo at the Jets

I was thinking given he’s a rookie it will help playing with Ronnie but either works

I am quite clear in saying specifically SS I don’t feel is good at this…..yes it is the norm.

And no I don’t miss many matches (and no Cronulla mayches) but well done on your completely incorrect assumptions

For me, he has potential to become a very good NRL winger.

He is tall and quick (two things people have complained about Katoa) and doesn't shy away from running hard into defence.

Sure, he gets driven back sometimes but he will bulk up over the next few years. Mind you, our defence has driven a lot of fullbacks/ wingers back lately and we don't blame their player - just good defence.

His catching has definitely got better this year. I can"t think of many howlers he has dropped lately.

And lastly, for those that aren't a fan, who would you rather have on the wing?

Isn't that what forums are for, to have opinions?

It's clear stonestreets weakness is running back the ball, and if it has improved its only a slight improvement over the off-season

This doesn't mean i want to throw him in the bin, and I understand it takes time, just like it did with Katoa when he was impersonating a ballerina when he first came in

Or bounce around and fine the extra meters to get out of our red zone everyone else has been struggling to find, or get a quick ptb

Whether he does it enough for your liking or not is up to you, but it’s much better than Stoney getting smashed

Exactly it takes time & patience.
It'd be great for SS to be an 80+ try scorer during his time with us too.
Early on, there weren't many fans of Sione.

I do think others would have the same assumptions if you think wingers don’t do hit ups. But apologies if I misunderstood.

I defy Billy Slater to hold on to that.

Similar to the kick - why are we passing it there, where is the composure?
 
Stonestreets kick returns are killing us.

The backs getting our sets off with a strong couple runs is crucial to the way we play, Sam’s a glaring weakness to that formula so he’s relentlessly targeted on the 5th tackle.
