Nobody on that list excites me at all but if it’s purely for depth then it would be alright taking one of them.

His carries were a problem initially but he started to show alot of improvement in this area and some genuine promise that he can break the line / get some more PCM
 
I am sure he will be good to go for next year. I am looking forward to seeing him play next year, now he has a bit more experience under his belt. Being a bit older and another pre-season he will likely be a bit stronger as well.

Yep. 11 games this year is more than enough for a great sample of strengths and areas to address from the coaching staff. Given he didn't re-sign till September, I'd think he wasn't exactly receiving huge offers from us or others. He now knows he has another 15 or so games locked in if he can stay fit. It's the perfect opportunity to launch his career, so you'd hope he's busting his ass to improve come day 1.

I wouldn't be against Talau on a minimum deal. Still only 25, 6'2 so not a small body either.

I thought maybe Tony Francis could be an option too but his 2024/25 NRL and Cup 22 games for 10 tries isn't that inspiring.
I know Titans suck something awful (and Tweed not too much better) but I thought he'd still been a bit more prolific in cup that that.
22/23 he had 42 games for 35 tries, although probably helped Burleigh are generally better than Tweed.

Naden looked primed for a big year at start of the season but I feel like that's become a recurring theme with him

Certainly also a project/depth signing too. Gets a couple strong games in every now and again but never lasts since his first two seasons at Penrith. And they can make anyone look good.

On talent alone is probably the best on that list but I think he’s in the “more trouble than he is worth” basket. Can’t say he has only been a **** clubs either.
 
Wouldn't mind Talau, covers centre and wing, went well last year
