ive been saying it for months now

everyone in our team is a ****in bitch

finucane and mcinnes will fix up our ruck, sure, but they wont intimidate anyone

we need to get someone who can make 150-180m a game

there is a prop looking to leave his club who can do that, we need to be all over it

Are you talking of JWH?

Yep, either would be good, but is JWH looking to leave?
He has 2 more years at $700 at the Roosters.

Where as there is more rumours that Klemmer does want to.

I'd expect Trent would want to keep him unless you took all (or the vast majority) of the wage and that helped him keep another couple guys he wants.
With the likes of Fiend, Cords, SST and Liu departing JWH may be too valuable a leader to let go.

I don't mind getting Klemmer but he doesn't give off much of an intimidation factor for mine. I do think alot of what we're missing can be coached and come with experience but one more enforcer certainly won't help.

Yall are some hard mother****ers not scared of Klemmer or Talakai, easy to say when you don't have to run at them. Not really sure what you guys want from an intimidating forward? Are other players actually meant to run scared from them?

Gal did say JWH was the most intimidating player he played against as you know every hit was gunna be hard and right on he edge of legal. Still ran at him all the time though, probably didn't seem intimidated.

I'd say it's not just trying to tackle people but trying to hurt them, which good form Talakai and old good form maddog Klemmer both try and do

Coaches are interested in "Hit and stick" players WAY more than hits. I'd take Klemmer at the right price, always liked him, don't reckon hes done.

The game is moving away from toughness and intimidation being relatively big factors. More about the process than the hurting now (quick play the balls and keeping your nose clean) but some grit and tough nutz in the pack is still a good thing and we are lacking some mongrel. we have become a soft team. key is controlled and measured aggression though. refs are all over the gruby and foul play, ruck indescrtions ect these days

Klemmer goes well

If Woods can come here from a terrible club and be decent for us no reason Klemmer can't come from a decent club and be good for us with Fitz, Dale ect around him
