Can't believe the Dally M 3 points went to Pearce. I know the Roosters won and should have the MOM award but surely there were 16 better Roosters players than Pearce.

Dally M points are generally skewed towards halves because they often have the greatest influence on a team scoring points. Looking at the top 8 places in the awards last year, the only player that you could say is not a full time half is Sutton.

Then Carney should have got the 3 points, cos his kick for SKD was pin point...............

Yeah, that was unfortunate. At the game, it seemed like the Roosters got some arsey tries. I thought we played well and it still wasn't good enough for the two points.

I'm pretty happy with how we played.

Still can't believe we scored a try from a 20m restart, that's just not Cronulla!

Good game that one but proved to me that Flash is not up to being fullback on current form. He is simply acting like a third winger and the constant leaving of bombs cost us big time.

He needs to lift his game big time attack the ball and back up the play. He is not a ball player but one part of his game that he excelled in was sniffing out the offload from a forward. Its non-existent.

Our forwards played really well and our backs on one side of the field rocked in defense and attack (no prizes for that guess)

Noticed Gal parked himself over next to Carney from about the 20th minute (may have been earlier) and that helped a little and as a result Blake looked a little better best stats of the year. Still he just looks like Pom, size of a footballer, speed of a footballer, brain of an idiot.

Carney's kick that SKD intercepted was actually bloody good. If Blake times his run right he gets the ball on the full one on one with SKD with momentum (notice SKD didn't need to jump) what 5 metres out, but, he took off too early. Jono won't do much better in attack but will be a damn sight safer in defence.

Also noticed that he and robbo changed sides in defence a fair bit.
And carney defended in the centres
With ayshford and gal on his inside.

It's a fact that Carney is not the best defender undisputed. But not once did he go hiding he was constantly putting himself in the road, kept getting smashed but kept at it. I admire that and I'm sure the boys do as well. I think it was aidan guerra who was directed to run at him all night, smashed over the top almost every time. Carney kept coming.

Thats a bloke putting in.
