Seriously we have a 1st grade team in NSW Cup !

I haven't heard J.Wright's name today so I'm assuming he is playing 1st grade tomorrow

Just got back from the game. Good win by the boys.

3 Point(s): Brett Finch - The guy was superb today. He did everything right and was the main reason we won today. His kicking game was phenomenal and he created many, many opportunities but we just weren't able to capitalize. Going from memory Finch set up four of the six try's today and showed his form of old. It stings that this guy is in our NSW Cup team yet we can't use him for firsts.

2 Point(s): Tyrone Peachey - Once again Peach took to the field and played awesome. He scored two tires of his own and was a factor in our others. His defense was solid and he looked dangerous every time he touched the ball. After today's performance I'll back the Peachey wagon and say he should get a bench spot next week v the Dogs.

1 Point(s): Sosaia Feki - It was going to be hard to not give the guy a point after scoring a hat-trick. His positional play was awesome and he knew how to finish. He's a little shaky in defense but good in attack.

Honorable Mentions

Maurice Blair - It was a photo finish between Blair and Feki for the one point. Blair was awesome today and again it stings that we aren't able to use him to cure our center woes. The guy was involved (from memory) in two of Feki's trys. He made several line breaks and was great in defense.

Ben Hampton - The kids a freak. From what I've watched and what I've read the guys had six blinders in six games. In all honesty this guy should stay in the fullback position when Gards is fit, he's too good to be wasted at dummy half.

Tupou Sopoaga - Frizell who? Sopoaga had a great game getting down and dirty in both attack and defense. He's dangerous on that right edge that's for sure.

Alipate Ratini - The guys in fine form. Whats it? 6 tries in the last 3 games? Phenomenal. However the guy is certainly not ready for first grade, it seems he's still learning the rules. There was a particular moment when he caught the ball in goals and started to run the length until Finch started scream "It's a tap!" and Ratini did a confused jog to the 20 meter line. The guys good in attack but I still can't comment on his defense as he hasn't had to do much.

Un-Honorable Mentions

Matthew Wright - The guy pretty much did nothing all game. His defense was alright I guess but he had nothing in attack. The only entertainment he brought this arvo was his Noddy like shank in a conversion attempt. The way he's going he'd had to be struggling to keep his NSW Cup position.

Penani Manumalealii - He doesn't really deserve to be here due to his performance in the last 30 mins of the match, however, the guy was poor in the other 50. He would only use selfish plays such as a dummy and scoot or grubber for himself, the only ball work he used was inside balls. He pulled his ****** together in the last 30 though and started playing decent footy.

Thanks Jim Bob. How was Coates?

Also, on Hampton- I first noticed him a couple of years ago when he was playing 7 for Melbourne's NYC side. That's his position in my opinion. He can organize a team plus he's got that extra pace that makes him dangerous with the footy.

Coates was strong, Taufua was better though.

Thanks. As he should be. More asking from a development perspective rather than with an eye to first grade. I haven't had a good look at the reggies yet this year.
