Keep fronting up mate. Admire your tenacity. If we can somehow beat the Knights next home game I will be a very happy ( not so little ) camper

Cheers mate. I want to get to the Knights game. Souths on a Monday at home should be more difficult.

ok, I have calmed down on this so my take on the game:

don't want t harp on, but it is all on Flanagan. from his ordinary team selection, to his rank game plan, it falls on him.

how he thinks that placing an out of form backrower into a position that requires more from you than to be an edge player is beyond me. I saw a something that when wade has had the 6 on his back, we are 0/13, but somehow flanno went back to it.

if he really consulted with the senior players and the best solution was to put wade at 6, then some of them need to have a hard look at themselves.

the call for the 2 points at the start of the game was the wrong call. the first time we get into attacking position and he doesn't back us, what does that say about HIS team, HIS plays, HIS structure, HIS game plan, and HIS attack. its failing. if 6 minutes into the game you think that taking the 2 is the right decision, then you have the wrong game plan. there is no need to grind out at win against the titans who are there to be beaten.

in the press conference, he said some of the decisions we made cost us. no shane, all of the decisions you made cost us.

- wade isn't a 6
- this isn't union, you get no more points for a penalty goal
- up by 2 and taking the 2 is wrong.

if the trainer made the call, he should be sacked. if gallen didn't over ride him, he should be stripped of captaincy. ennis threw the ball away in disgust when the call came out, that's how a captain should react. I wish ennis would tap and go and worry about the consequences after the game.

if we tapped and went and nothing game of it, and they go the length of the field and score a converted try, we still lose, so what is the value ion taking the 2? for and against? we are now -32, those 2 points wont do **** in the gran scheme of things.

bringing bird on early for wade when he was concussed looked to be the right call, and when wade came back on, beale should have stayed at 5/8 to keep bird out wide. at one stage our right wedge was val, bird, lewis and beale and it was dominating in defence and making meters in attack.

this loss is all on the coach. I haven't been on the #FlannOUT brigade yet, but I am starting to come around to it. I would not object to him moving into a recruitment role and us finding a new coach, because he is out dated in his style, thinking, philosophy and general coaching.

a lot of people will blame wade for the pass, and whilst it was a terrible play that didn't need to happen, someone who is a regular half should have been in his spot in the first place. this falls on flanno again.

the loss is on him, just like the other 3 losses are on him.

rant over

Whilst I agree with a lot of what you've said snow, I've watched the Wade pass over and over again and it seriously does my head in.

I noticed for an earlier try he had to turn around to pass to the right. I would have thought 1st grade players could pass both ways?

Worst bit is that Graham is actually a pretty smart footballer by nature. "Knows his way around" blah blah. But his head is obviously in such a state that he makes that play. The environment is killing him. And its showing. Ever seen a more jaded 24 year old?*

nope that's why he plays on the left

Can everyone fuggin remember this for the next time the "Graham should play a roving role like Gav Miller did because it worked twenty years ago and the game isn't any different now" rants start? He's as left-sided a player as you will ever see.

Blame wade but forget gordons brain explosion in goal.

No DJ I won't forget that. Absolutely inexcusable, I have no idea what Flash was thinking. You put the ball dead, no questions. Wade's pass was bad but that was a woeful play from Flash. And in the past I have been one of his admirers. When he first came to us the comparison with Gards was amazing. He was so much safer, he could hold the ball, and you always knew when a bomb went up Flash would be there to catch it.

Now its back to when Gards was fullback, heart in the mouth stuff. Yes we would have had to defend another six tackles in our 20 but it's better than scoring a try.

Flash must not be picked at Fullback against the Roosters - has to be Holmes.

It was a bit of bad judgement made under fatigue. The punishment was severe but the reward would have been a 7 tackle set with the Titans out of position. How is it such a bad offence? Things happen, risks don't always pay off - that's why they're risks.

Its nowhere near the heart of why we're losing. Its just part of the game.

Fatigue? It was 3 minutes after halftime.

Its just a shame that literally the titans ONE attacking weapon in James Roberts was involved in two of the big scoring moments of the game.

Someone should have been calling to Gordon that Roberts was flying through and if anyone was gonna score that try it'd be him.

And FFS idk what Wade was thinking. You make that play with 20 to go when your ahead by 4 or down by 4. not with 5 to go and ahead by 4. And again, it was the fastest guy in rugby league he happened to pass it too. He should know better than that.

he wasn't in a position to take that 'risk' though, he should have been guarding the ball to make it a hell of a lot harder for the attacker to get the ball down but he wasn't, no excuses in my opinion

It's not a mistake that a senior player should make AB. Ok, maybe the Titans score from the dropout but there's a bloody good chance that they don't. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think we were leading 14-6 at the time. Not the time to do what he did. Big turning point.
