Finally watched this game. Fifita was back to his best but I thought Graham stood out. Leadership, kicking, running, passing, defence. He had it all. League would he a hell of a game if every "dime a dozen" second rower played like that.

With you 100% on this post mate. This is why we paid such big dollars for Fifi to stay. How good was it seeing him back to his best!

Our last try was due to Fifita picking the right moment to head to the edge and play as a centre. Gallen could learn from that. Play your role and then find the right moment to play beyond it. Don't try it every set.

something that has been at me for the week

chris heighingtons grubber into the ingoal, but dead set, who the **** made the decision to pass him the god damn ball on the fifth

robson had been tackled, brown was screaming for the ball and our hooker went to heino

fair enough we got the result, but **** my dead great grand mother, it could have been a bad out come for us

it just seems as if they will not let brown kick the ball? can anyone find the kicking stats for the weekend.

i would like to know how many robbo wade and brown took, i am also pretty sure fifita put a grubber in, in the first half?

Yes fifita put in a really good grubber, not sure if it was the last or not, but again idk what the **** is with the ball not getting to a half or wade on the last.

What time was this when henio put the kick in? I want to see this again.

fifitas kick was the best all day, limited room and time and just put in a quick little grubber. Was quite pleased with himself as well lol

We would not have won without him, it's that simple.

Thing is we need our forwards to pull these sorts of games out to win 18-16. If other sides forwards start grubbering for repeat sets, making a half dozen line breaks and setting up tries it usually means they've already got 30+ on their opponent and they're having a bit of a **** around.

late second half, i think when we were grinding the lead out, dont quote me on it, that is an unofficial statement

fantastic kick, that i agree with

but for the life of me, i couldnt understand why we never gave the ball to brown

and you could actually see it was our game plan... when we were making our way out of our half, the hitups were all headed to wright/gagans side of the field so robbo could have the room to kick open side, it was horrible

lucky penriths fat forwards couldnt get to him in time or his 35m kicks could have been worse

nu having 2 kicks doesnt sit well with me at all

i would like to see the other halves kicking stats for the round
has he even had more then 2 kicks in a game lol, I can't recall him having more then a few kicks a game, needs to be used more in attack

Maybes it's the coaching staff and players plan to limit his workload to ease him into first grade

Its without a doubt the plan, for whatever reason, that Nu doesn't kick unless there is no other option.

I think last week's 2 kicks was his busiest day on the boot in FG. As snow said they played the sets to set up a Robbo kick, if he didn't get it they found Wade. He got out-called on the last by Heigno and Fafita. Its not just how it panned out, its the most we've played to any sort of plan all year.

There was definitely one time I saw on tv brown standing at first receiver (I think robbo was playing the ball) and it was quite clear the dummy half looked at him, ignored him and passed the other way.

seriously wtf do we have to lose, give him free reign. The team needs to know if he sees something to call it and go with his instinct. He is too much of a talent and attacking weapon to be played like that

We are better of putting a forward there like Lewis or Wadeo and having a extra forward on the bench, brown is just a wasted spot out there tbh

Didn't Brown put Gagan in with a deft little chip/bomb on debut? I think thats the only other time I seen him kick.

Wonder if it's coaching instructions or the players have no confidence in him yet.
