We didnt squeze past today, we were all over them for the game and never in danger of losing that
Any derby win is a good win and frankly our recent track record against the Merge is so poor you should be thankful for each and every win we get over them regardless of the circumstances

Not our problem if half their squad is injured, thats team management, thats footy. No one cares about our horror injury toll last year or that we had a few players absent from our squad when the Dragons dusted us up earlier in the year

We were expected to win and win well today and we delivered on that, it's gone the other way many a time for us. Attitude and energy was good as was execution, we weren't complacent. You can only play what's in front of you and today that just happened to be an uncoordinated rag tag filthy merged enemy

No one is celebrating like we our premiership certainties and massive improvement is still required for us to be a threat but I suggest you take just a bit of time to enjoy this one

I watched the game from behind the goal posts yesterday so it gave a great perspective of how we attack. The key problem from what I saw was that we slide across in attack so by the time the Centre and Winger receive the ball they only have two metres of field to work in. Wade seems to be particularly guilty of sliding across.

If this is our attacking plan we need someone to cut back on the angle and straighten up the attack. Steve Renouf was the Master.

I thought we should have scored another 2-3 tries for the dominance we had over St George.

The next month will be an excellent test and knowing that we have a tough draw ahead will hopefully see us play our best footy considering we will be the underdogs for all of those games.
