We broke the rules in 2011 guys.

This year is our punishment.

The sooner you guys accept that, the sooner we move on.

Stop looking at weekly results.

Feki deadset scored two tries tonight. I cannot believe they were not awarded. In the first one, with the on field refs saying try, there had to be conclusive proof to overturn it. There wasn't.

If Todd Carney's pass was forward there were two or three from Manly as well that we're let go. In my opinion, TC's pass was flat that may have marginally floated forward. I have seen many way worse let go.

Arona's try? I'm willing to concede they couldn't award that. But the ref's positioning was awful. He should have been in a better spot to rule on that.

On top of all that, as I said in a previous post, we got penalised for the slightest infringement while they were allowed at will to lie all over us. Gards has his head almost ripped off and the p i s s weak refs just put it on report. Blatant and dangerous head high which should have been marched. These pricks in pink don't have the guts to send anyone off these days.

Poor Gards. He is just too small. He doesn't have the elusiveness that he used to. He tried hard but I don't think he was effective. I wouldn't put Flash there although the ABC commentators, while laying into us most of the night, reckoned we HAVE to put Flash there. **** it, I say, for the rest of the season put Holmes there assuming he is now in our top 25.

**** Ayshford off. I'd put Feki and Leutele in the centres, Flash and Gagan on the wings.

I could go on and on but I'm too tired. This is probably the lowest I have ever felt as a Sharks fan. Without a shadow of a doubt.

I thought Feki dropped the ball. I reckon it was the correct decision.
But the other try, no way that was passed forward. Give that one.

Thats a fair point and personally I can handle the ASADA drama. Sharks always have dramas, we're used to it.

The things that I won't tolerate is the poor coaching and decisions being made in the place. Yes we've had a bad injury run but in saying that a lot of those games this year the teams we've had have still been decent with an abundance of NRL experience, we have just been exposed and found out big time this year and this is largely due to decisions made and approaches taken the last couple years. Just poor management IMO

- we are so old and slow and conservative. The game evolved again this year and got faster. We are way behind the eight ball
- our attack and try scoring ability has been a problem for 4 years and has not being addressed. We are still playing a grinding style of football from 2008 that won't work in todays game
- our squad is so unbalanced with too many back rowers and forwards and rubbish backs. There is very little quality and no depth in the backs at all
- we are reliant on our back rowers to win us games. Wont happen.
- inability to invest in our youth and make the big decisions. Failing to re-sign Peachey and Lichaa early, re-signing Morris, re-signing Robson, signing Heinington, Prior, Holdsworth, Grothe
- inability to make the big decisions and incorporate the young guys to take the team forward when it matters i.e at the start of the year, not round 14 when we are coming last. All I hear from Sharps mouth is the 'incumbents'. Fugg me the incumbents have been crap from round 1.
- there seems to be no plan for the future. What exactly are we building here?

If ayshford plays another game for us i will cut my knob off. And that includes nswcup. He would be the worst player in the australian paralympic team! How the **** does he get a gig every single week!?

Drop taga until he learns he is bigger than carney
Drop ayshford and hopefully he smashes
Drop lewis cos he is a cat and MAKE sure Arona is in the team every week

You will love article in today's Herald where Noyce defends the recruitment policy of over 30s. He also says we have a strategic plan. Once I read we had a strategic plan, I was immediately satisfied that all is well with the world.

This is obviously beyond your capabilities so maybe you shouldn't comment.
Retain them at the expense of others, not in addition FFS.

I don't care where we came last year its about constantly evolving and improving your team and integrating the best youngsters instead of just giving them a run at origin time or when injuries hit. Thats what the good coaches do. We don't do any of that.

With some subtle rule changes the game has changed this year, its faster and we have been totally unprepared. We approached the season intending to do exactly the same thing as last year with exactly the same ageing squad. In regard to our backs it was probably actually a weaker squad. Therein lies the problem.

If you don't laugh what else can you do.

It was only matched by the Flanno piece in the Weidler article blaming everyone else and taking zero responsibility. Can't wait to have him back.

I nearly spat my morning coffee all over the paper. I'm glad you brought this up WH because it seems to have slipped under the radar a little. I might even drag it up in the official Flanagan thread, my second favourite thread of all time.
