Souths are the real deal. Impressive performance especially with their origin players missing. They physically dominated us. Something I havent seen in a long time.

Our backz didnt have a chance. Our forwards were completely dominated from start to finish. Gallen wasjt dominant, prior tried, wade off, paulo didng impress, fifita d8dnt impress, did bukuya even get a run, brailey did prop level middle defence. Probably our best forward.

We lost the game in the ruck. They submit in tackles quickly then use all of their energy to struggle back up for a quick play the ball. Sort of like touchy footy when you run with your arm out then tunnel ball it quickly. Great tactic, good coaching. Then there was the kicking game and our horrible diffusal.

Finally watching it now. A lot of bad stuff (Feki has been covered already) but Bukuya's still a way from his best after that virus. Jersey grabbing and slapping in defence, it's a real shame.

We were poor. Didn’t muscle up in defence and no go forward. They made huge metres on us, which stopped our attack. Silly errors and penalties gave them look in numerous times. Lucky they didn’t score a bigger margain against us. Honestly Feki needs to be dropped, and a few other guys on notice. Katoa and Lee Look to be our wingers for the feasible future with Holmes at FB.

As bad as last night was I think we should put it down to being a bit flat after a 5 day turn around and having a disrupted team with Dugan and Val out and then graham going down early.

Flano will use this as an example why it costs to be complacent and no matter how well you think you are going, even 5% drop in intensity can cost you big time.

Expect a fresh fired up team on a sunny Sunday afternoon next weekend. We will bounce back.

Their fringe players stepped up.
Hmmmm Sounds familiar........ They did a Cronulla on Cronulla!
I don’t even reckon they stepped up, we made them look superstars. We just let them run around all friggen game.

I was worried about this game.

I thought we were always going to struggle in the middle this game.

A lot of you guys are forgetting we had a 5 day turn around (souths had six) and all though it is not good enough, if you combine that with a lack of match fitness to Lewis, Graham, Bukuya and Gallen.. who have all spent time out injured recently, it is less surprising we got dominated up front.

Paulo was a poor bench option as he doesn't provide much go forward, Uele would have been better to help for this game. (Would have been harsh to drop paulo given recent form though)

If we sign woods, i hope its for this year as I would like Gal to come off the bench and for us to start Fifita and Woods and prop and Prior as lock.

Feki needs to never play first grade again
Fifita needs to go back to just running hard and hitting hard rather than running sideways
Moylan needs to get the ball more
Gal Shouldn’t get the ball after the 3rd tackle
Seggy needs to play a full half
Townsend should run he ball more often especially late in halves

Just my 2 cents
Agree, but Gal shouldn't get the ball at all.
