Going to be in France on the 14th. Catalan are playing on that day, I would chase down Pomeroy but on the other side of the country.

Another week, another loss :( Sadly, I'm becoming immune to it, or I already am. One positive of tonight was that I liked the Thai food I had for dinner while watching the game... I thought Roqica looked to get involved in attack. Though I may have noticed him more than anyone else because of his hair.

Hopefully the bye freshens the team up and we can get the Goons in the Gong. That would provide a glimmer of sunshine in this rainy season.

35 years following the Sharks and I can't think of a less mediocre side than tonight. Souths would have lost to every other team in the comp tonight based on what they dished up in this game.

Nothing we offered tonight in attack gives me a glimmer of hope or something to look forward to for the weeks ahead. We make it so much harder for ourselves when we drop the ball as much as we do. Giving the ball back to the opposition on the first tackle after they have run at you set after set is a surefire way to get tired quick and make more errors.

Feki dropped the ball three times tonight - twice inside our 20 on the first tackle.
Jono Wright fields the ball in the middle of the field and heads for the sideline to put his leg out on the first tackle.
Our kicks by Holdsworth and Robson are never contested by our guys - no pressure on Merritt at all.

The only time we looked half decent were our repeat sets in the last 5 minutes but with all that possession we still couldn't score...we are so predictable and our 5th tackle options are still horrible

I think I have a stomach ulcer....
mate, you have obviously watched a lot of sharks footy as have i. infarct i cant remember a game i have missed post foxtel.
souths were ordinary in fact pedestrian in every way a football team could be.

just like your older brother slappin you around enough to make you cry before taking the foot off the pedal.
again you nailed it.

That was absolute ****ing ****. We're lucky they didn't put 40 on us. Piss weak in every aspect. It was a ****ing comedy.

The holdsworth/robson combo exceeded my expectations of crapness, particularly those first 3 kicks or so that were charged down. FFS stand a bit deeper already
Don't make excuses for this team people, they deserve none

On the plus side I won $80 on the pokies which paid for beer and dinner plus a bit of profit so all round a superb night!

Getting home from the game, one of the most unenthusiastic, boring and lackluster games I've ever been apart of. I seriously didn't even feel bad not watching it and chatting with mates and I'm usually ignoring them to watch every play, don't think i even cheered or yelled at the refs once. Almost as quiet as robbo.

At certain points there was literally not a noise being made by the crowd. Shocking atmosphere. Couldn't wait to leave and i have NEVER felt like that before. If i can even be bothered i might give a live match report. Will not be watching that replay and I've watched every single one for 3 years.

Really just feel completely down at the moment and not just because of the leash thats suffocating me from the misses, but the football is seriously depressing me and affecting my life outside of it. Caring so much can drain you i guess.

Only good thing to come out of tonight was being completely blasted by the misses (took the mind off the footy and i got to rip into her and let the anger out) and also winning 300 on the pokies and black jack.

Drown the sorrows on origin night.

Just finished the replay, and dont know what to say. I think SB sums it up just fine.
I thought heigho, feki and flash at least tried, the rest were ****ing woeful.
I expected a hammering, hence why I only saw the replay, and if souths werent so poor we would have got one.
They at least had 4 under 20s players, refused to risk luke, and still won comfortably.

The years over, now its just a matter of spoon or not, and based on tonights performance theres not going to be much competition.
Ive honestly got nothing good to say at all......

Sb and sm have summed it up well from a fans perspective. We all put so much into following this team and we're getting not much in return. The highlight of most games this year is catching up with people off the forum (except sharkyboy...haha)

Its even getting hard to work up the steam to bag the team anymore.

I have so much stuff to rip robbo on but I'm just lacking the spark atm, can't imagine how the boys are feeling.

Including our money. We should expect a better return when we give the club out hard earned cash. Especially when everything is overpriced.

TBH I just can't get into Monday night games a very hard night for atmosphere. It's a short week with the Origin and NRL still a game on a Monday night.

Only saw the last 10 minutes of the game and we had all the ball and didnt look like scoring! Reading what was said on here Im glad I missed it. We just seem completely clueless with the ball. I wouldnt mind so much but its been the same for so long. Our structures are dreadful and we make sides look like defensive greats! Anyway Im actually going to enjoy this week with the buy and our first two points for a while! Im not even that pissed off because Im now so used to the mediocrity we get served up! The kids at school are going to give it to me in spades again today! Oh well looks like I will be handing out a few suspensions !!

Stopped watching with 20 mins to go.

You know the team is ****e when you breath a sigh of relief when they pass the ball to Robbo on the 5th

Seriously doubt we will see that back five and if we do we need to make some serious changes in this club.
