Great to get jag the win but I think it's fair to say this team has some serious issues.

Love to see a win constructed rather than what appears to be a fate dictated by the roll of the green.
jeez you can always find the pebble of **** in a bowl of cocopops

Not at our best but it's so good to still get the points when we are ****.

Only two points off the eight now which is fantastic considering how bad we have been at times.

It's crazy that we could be in fourth now if it wasn't for throwing away those two games.

Much needed win

Lewis looks great at lock an should stay there for the rest of the year ..

Barba finding some form an should stay at fullback .. I think we will see him put in some great games in the not too distant future .. Good to see him smiling

Fifita was huge...

I enjoy watching the Sharks more when Gallen isn't playing ...

Well done boys !!

Maybe Flanno is setting us up for the rule changes for next year???

Yeah he thinks he is Bellamy or something with his bench rotation. For the rotation when Lewis comes back on after his rest in the second half he could easily just leave the bench player on the field and bring Bukuya off. We don't need 3 blokes playing 80 minutes when we can use the same amount of subs and balance the minutes out.

Great night of footy. Sharks fans would have had to of outnumbered titans fans. 10500 attending and all i could see was sharks jerseys.
CBUS is an awesome venue but wasted on the Gold Coast.
Great to see some old boys attending too. Nick Graham, Chris McKenna, Craig Greenhill and co interacting with the supporters signing autographs, great job fellas and very entertaining having you there.

Robbo tried his best tonight, he was madly trying to organise a disorganised flat attack that just lacked cohesion. They do seem quite lost on the outside. Ruck fringe we look dangerous but once the ball spreads wide it is just not happening. Ill give Robbo credit tonight, kicking not great but he didn't stop searching.
Forwards Prior, Fifita, Lewis were standouts for effort.
Barba looked frustrated at times gesticulating to Gordon a number of times.

We scored points from sloppy titans errors and some luck not by structured momentum and planning. Golden point was very well handled and well finished by Val.

Made the 5+ hour each way drive worth it. Lets hope we can fire through the mid season and get some much needed momentum.

It certainly was worth driving 2 hours up from the NSW North coast! Any win in golden point especially a comeback win is always worth it!

Really? I thought it was an okay game as this season's standards go. Few linebreaks from them, some good shapes by both teams. Some weird/freaky plays in both directions.

I was really pleased with the improvement in attacking shape in particular. Barba + Bird and Ennis looking after the middle third is starting to click.

Not having a go AB, but you are a very optimistic person. I think we still look like a side with no direction or plan. Let's hope you're right and not me.

The Tits were absolutely woeful in the second half and basically handed the game to us on a platter.

Thanks! ha.

Nah really I could pick apart lots of things about the team and the performance and the Club more broadly. (And I have on here, a lot at times). But I'm more interested in trends and I think our attack is trending upward. Especially since Barba moved to the back. He's still down on pace but he's competing hard and he's still got phenomenal ball skills. I'm seeing more depth and movement around the ball on our set piece sets especially. I suspect Price is the influence. Its not great by the standards of the comp but it was acceptable. If that can be our average then we're getting somewhere.

The negative expectations here are so deep set is that it would take us blowing the other team off the park for most on here to think we attacked well which rarely happens if the other team turn up to tackle.

Lots of people seem to agree with you and think that we were slightly less bad than them in a bad game. I thought they were pretty good - forwards were strong, played very straight, kicked exceptionally well - but our guys picked up a gear late and came over the top of them. What was so bad? The last 30 was high intensity footy. We got smashed in the penalties/video ref and it was away from home - that pretty much balances out the injuries they copped. We scored more tries than them and could easily have had 12 points go the other way if not for being the victim of two bad video ref calls. There were some defensive lapses but the energy in D was pretty good (example: the last set of the game).

There's a weird bipolar aspect to this (all?) forum that shifts between everything is rosy and player x will play Origin to everything is ****, x player is woeful. The reality is in the middle and there's very little difference between all the teams. We need changes in the football dept and in key positions but on the whole we've got a talented squad that's playing better and will develop more as our kids get towards 50 games. Plus we won.

That's where I'm.coming from anyway.
