Round 1 vs Canberra at Shark Park in 1994 saw the emergence of three of the Sharks' new stars, all of whom feature in the first try on the video.
Paul Green, down from Brisbane, makes a nice break from the scrum base, and finds a flying Richie Barnett on the wing to finish the try.
Looming up on the inside hoping to score under the posts is a lanky No 14 - the great David Peachey in his first grade debut. Unfortunately, he would have to wait another year to score that initial first grade try!
The second try is a penalty try to ET following a perfectly placed kick by Mitch Healey, also from a scrum. Cronulla ended up winning 24-16 to begin a great resurgence at the club.
