Barba - Kennedy
Feki - Ronnie
Leutele - Tracey
Bird - Ramien
Val - Katoa
I'd say advantage 2016 but not by a huge margin

Maloney - Moylan/Trindall
Chad - Hynes
Hopefully advantage 2022

Gallen - McInnes
Lewis - Nikora
Graham (working) - Graham (broken)
Fifita (working) - Finucane
Ennis - Brailey
Prior - Rudolf
Advantage 2016 but the big difference is we are actually paying more for broken versions of Graham and Fifita now than working versions then.
If we could get value from or spend that money we probably should have comparable attack around the park. Maybe 2023...
I like the (working v broken) for Graham.
accurate on the paying for the brokeness :(

I reckon you're being pretty generous there mate.

Barba - Kennedy - No knock on Will but 2016 Barba is way superior at this stage
Feki - Ronnie - Not much in it
Leutele - Tracey - Not much in it
Bird - Ramien - 2016 Bird for mine much better than what Jesse has produced since returning
Val - Katoa - I like Katoa but 2016 Val far superior
I'd say advantage 2016 but not by a huge margin - advantage 2016 by a fair way imo

Maloney - Moylan/Trindall - Maloney way better
Chad - Hynes - We're in trouble if Nicho isn't better!
Hopefully advantage 2022 - Hopefully

Gallen - McInnes
Lewis - Nikora
Graham (working) - Graham (broken)
Fifita (working) - Finucane
Ennis - Brailey
Prior - Rudolf

The 2022 forward pack doesn't even come close to 2016 imo.
If it was a rugby league game.

2016 team - 5 stars

2022 - 3 and a half
Hard to squeeze everyone I want in but providing all fit. Not a prediction as Fitz side will not look like this in many ways.

1. Kennedy
2. Katoa
3. Ramien
4. Ronnie
5. Ikavalu
6. Hynes (can cut out Ramien and feed Katoa like SJ did)
7. Trindall (Goal Kicker)
8. Finucane (Captain)
9. Brailey
10. BHU
11. Wilton
12. Wade
13. McInnes

14. Talakai
15. Hunt
16. Jack Williams
17. Tracey

18. Rudolf
19. Tolman
20. Metcalf
21. Moylan

Rudulf hasn't been that special of late and his defense isn't where it should be. Moylan likely gunna get injured and disrupt the team otherwise I might find a spot for him.

I'm still a big BHU fan, he wasn't as bad as some fans said last season. Still has so much upside and Fifita like potential. Gets his fitness and consistency right he is a weapon and still put together some strong stints last season. Adds more size to our pack, Dale & Rudolf bit on the lighter side of Prop forwards and when you factor in the forwards on our bench
i like this team

It would be the wrong call, Katoa > Ikuvalu any day of the week.

I want Brailey to start on the bench and come on first prop rotation and play the rest of the game, with McInnes moving to lock then.

Tracey and Ronaldo edge combo was recently reported in a Fitz interview.

Moylan and Hynes halves combo keeps being mentioned as a very likely scenario in Fitz interviews.

With Tracey and Moylan starting, then Trindall becomes the most likely 14.

This was posted 4 days ago, probably before Fox Sports then. All of them could just be an educated guess though off recent interviews

But yes the Katoa one is the surprise, the poster could have inside knowledge, or may of been another good guess because of the Fitz / Ikuvala Roosters combo and Ikuvala leaving the Rooosters early to join Fitz.

An edge of Ronnie & Tracy will be like the coach putting up an " Attack Here , Guaranteed Payout ! " sign for opposition .

If Talakai happens to be out on that side of field at same time then change sign , " Attack Here , Early Payout " .
.

So what are you thinking? McInnes and Finucane? Personally I prefer them as middles

Agree McInnes & Finucane middles . I was referring to wing/centre/back row combination .

I see Ronnie & Tracy both as attacking weapons but both with time-out lapses in defence , therefore not a great starting wing/centre combination in a season where the expectation is that we climb the ladder a few places .

I think we are short a standout 2nd centre at this stage & would prefer to see Ronnie / Ikavalu ( Centre ) combination first up with Tracy 14 unless Tracy has built up a fair bit in off-season .

Talaki was my vote for disappointment of the year last year behind Chambers after at least giving Chambers a couple of points for his ability to distract the opposition. ( Moylan wasn't a disappointment as I didn't expect much )

Agree that Kotoa is our 1st choice winger & plays alongside Ramien in Rd 1 .

Reading that I don't think they have a clue, why drop Katoa who has been one of our best wingers consistently over the years then picking Moylan over Trindall. They've even dropped Wilton & Williams out of the 17 completely too. I wouldn't believe or listen to them for a minute.

I have no evidence **** defensive wingers Ronnie and Iku are gunna make good defensive centres. Tracey at least used to defending three in which is more similar than wing defensively (imo). I think full preseason he should be okay there but it is def a quick question mark position.
Halves kinda which of these three will be best, centre is which of these three will be least worse.
It is left centre so typically will face other tree and weaker offence.

I didn’t really want Will Chambers and he was just as **** as I was worried. Agree Takakai was a disappointment although harsh shoulder charge suspension really screwed him around getting some form going.

Yeah I think either Williams or Wilton good odds to beat Tolman but don’t think that’s an outrageous call. Dropping Katoa is some
Marge thinking he is the bulldogs hooker level confusion.
