Looks like it should be close but we will see how you went once 17 actually run outBut but but. I was on the money right ???
It went up last Wednesday mate, not 30 mins ago!If 30 mins equals a week, then okay then!
I’m referring to this weeks actual Rd 1 team list.It went up last Wednesday mate, not 30 mins ago!
Ah ok mate. Sorry, I thought you were saying I’d only put the game thread up 30 mins ago.I’m referring to this weeks actual Rd 1 team list.
Are you suggestion the list I posted (and the list posted by Gards in the game day thread today) was released a week ago?
The one we’re Tracey was not listed due to injury?
All good. I also realised you meant the actual game thread afterwards.Ah ok mate. Sorry, I thought you were saying I’d only put the game thread up 30 mins ago.
Totally forgot about him Burgo but I don't think he would be in the running anyway. I noticed that the NRL.com casualty ward doesn't list Jack Williams so they are just as clueless. Also Hiroti missing Chad
Yeah - agreed on both counts.Totally forgot about him Burgo but I don't think he would be in the running anyway. I noticed that the NRL.com casualty ward doesn't list Jack Williams so they are just as clueless.
Thanks Burgo. Given all that, I'd say our depth is pretty good. Do you agree?Yeah - agreed on both counts.
To answer the original question…
Graham to start, Wilton to bench
Tracey in, Ikuvalu out (Ronnie to wing)
McInnes to start, BHU to bench (Dale to prop)
Add Williams and Trindall to the bench
Tolman goes to 18th man
Fifita out
Now you’ve got an 6 man bench.
I would pick
BHU
Williams
Hunt
Only one of Wilton, Talakai, Trindall
Having McInnes and Tracey in your 13 makes the bench “injury cover” thing much easier.
Also - given that Wade is out for a while, it’s possible that Wilton plays his way ahead of Nikora during that time.
I think so. When you look at the “next guy in” across the board I think we are decent. Thanks Burgo. Given all that, I'd say our depth is pretty good. Do you agree?
I’d say we need to reserve judgement to see how rd 1 goes before calling our depth pretty good, given we are pretty much using it all in this game. Thanks Burgo. Given all that, I'd say our depth is pretty good. Do you agree?
Only thing for me is i'd try and find BHU a starting spot, which I guess would be at Toby's expenseYeah - agreed on both counts.

Yeah - you could swap those two and it wouldn’t change muchOnly thing for me is i'd try and find BHU a starting spot, which I guess would be at Toby's expense

Both benefit more from controlled minutes but I agree I think BHU benefits more than Rudolf from a bench start. Why? BHU was faaaaar more effective coming off the bench last season.

Hmm... if only there was a way to (statistically) show whether this is true or not...Both benefit more from controlled minutes but I agree I think BHU benefits more than Rudolf from a bench start.
