Lets get off Poms back. The bloke is hard enough on himself. I reckon he is in for a good year. Back to his 08 form.

Maybe he should be a little harder on himself, Does he have a kid maybe a young nephew or cousin. He should go play catch in the backyard with them and get some pointers.

Yeah I agree.... he struggles hard enough without having to carry all of us around

From what I understand, Ricky is deadset on the idea that you earn your spot in first grade by what you put in at training.

I can imagine Poms being a real workaholic at training and consequently ticking all the boxes.

Perhaps it's just a confidence thing... a couple ofthings fall his way and I reckon you're going to see him back on top again.

ALL players go through form slumps... even the true greats like Steve Rogers and Andrew Ettingshaussen have had their "down cycle".

Poms will be back at his best real soon.

Yes I think you are right Fitz. All he needs is some confidence and he will be back. His last 4 or 5 games for us were good. I would love to see him get back to his 08 form. When he has his head right he is the best centres we have. Come on you blokes get behind the big fella!

I'm with you lumpy now simmons is gone seems poms is the new punching bag.from memory he only dropped one pass in the trial a 15metre sprial in the wet .thought they should of shortened up the passes in the wet.the season hasn't even started at least give him a few rounds before giving it to him.

The key to Pom is to use softer hands. He is so intense when he catches the ball he either loses control or drops it. Soft hands and let the ball come to him.

He'll be right.

I'm a fan of Pom's. I don't think anyone's talent in our squad can be based on last years horrors. I'm confident he'll make us proud this year.
By the way I notice Fergo named in the other centre spot for the tigers trial. He certainly played well there in the all stars game. keen to see how he goes.
