Seriously though back on footy, the club should've used Gal to negotiate with ARey, he wouldn't have stuffed it up, look at the recruits he managed to get over to us in the past decade.

Yeah but don't forget he was actually playing at the time and one of the main reasons players came to us was that the NSW Captain and Australian Vice Captain went out of his way to speak to these players.

To add to that, majority of them said to play with Paul Gallen was also an attraction.

But isn't he the Aus Heavyweight Champ? Won title on debut and hasn't lost...?

Perhaps title was vacated after McKean started fighting internationally?

It's on a points system so Browne is actually still 3rd despite losing 2 of his last 3

Confusing

this site has it up to date, and has pulled demsey as he hasn't had a fight in australia for a while? but i think he has one end of the month

Was saying on 100% Footy that he'd be very tempted to pick Wade for Origin.

Wow.

NSW is missing a few first choice second rowers. Wonder if it could spark a form reversal? Doesn't seem like playing for Cronulla is exciting enough for him at the moment.

Wow.

Wades heart hasn’t been in Cronulla since Flanagan left - picking him for origin isn’t right, he’s been garbage

One would hope Fitzgibbon is a good man manager and can get his mental back on track

Recall would be out of desperation and on past experience and versatility, no way he is close to a look in on form

I don't think Graham deserves an Origin Spot.

I do think that it could be good for his game though. Get some confidence in him.

Wade would lift, and do well in that company

Gal hung in pretty well but Justis was much more technically proficient. Throw in reach advantage and very fit and he was well ahead of Gal.
Shame ref didn’t let it go on though as he only needed to survive about another minute

He won a whole heap of respect tonight again for his efforts. Had no right to make it as far as he did. Gal is one of the toughest guys I've ever seen.

Good luck to the young guy..
My only worry is I’m not sure he has enough power (still may come) to mix it with the big big elite boys.. those bastards would knock most us mere mortals out with not much more than a decent jab, let alone loading up on a hook or monster upper cut…
Gal hang em up (your a rockstar still)

Even more impressive is he had his rib broken in the second round.
True warrior. Never took a backwards step in his entire footy career. I still remember all the hard runs getting us out of our end when he was carrying the whole team, early 2010s
Hasn't hurt hurt his reputation by being beaten last night. Infact it's probably enhanced it.
Needs a statue when Shark Park reopens
