In your head, rent free
i dont like him, but will never take away his passion and commitment to the club

he could have walked but stayed when many lesser men would have gone.

well done on a great career gal, no one can take away that you were the first shark to lift the trophy

Make him a Sharks imortal in his last year. Will be some rare good news for the vultures to circle while rewarding Gal for being a warrior for us for so long.

Love you Gal! I was there for your 300th, and I’ll be there this weekend to see you equal the club record... I’d be there for you to break it, but Townsville is a hole

It was a little concerning to hear him say “I’m looking forward to the end of the season” haha, come on Gal it’s only been one round!

Haha yeah. He'd be happy to have his last off season behind him I reckon

Is there a nines tournament next year? With how many extras Gal does, it wouldn’t surprise me if he were to come back for that In the next few years

You're not his coach any more, let it go already!

Gal is an absolute machine, an absolute warrior for the Sharks. The bloke deserves so much more credit than he gets, and really the Sharks need to have some statues at Shark Park with one of them being Gal.

Reading the ZeroTackle article where they quote him as saying "I’ve had enough of the rollercoaster to be honest.” That seems quite telling, and kind of a sad thing in a way. Perhaps all the off-field crap has finally gotten to him a bit and he would rather distanced himself from it now. Whatever the case may be, he is a true Shark, and all these other team supporters that bag him, I am sure they would have loved to have had him in their side. He is the benchmark for many young players coming through I would say.

Gal knows his body, should have retired last year, but knows he can make it this season.

He won't risk an early farewell

Any reason he hasn't been doing the post game pressers? Not that it overly matters.

I haven’t watched that many press conferences besides ours, but it’s seems like it’s coaches only this year

I think it’s no longer required, I’d like to see Wade in there with Morris though
