Hi everyone, could you help a brutha out with some parking tips for Sunday's game? It's bound to be a sell out, and with that comes the mad scramble to find a spot, so any advice would be helpful. I'm not sure how early I can make it to the ground, so any sneaky back street, off the radar style places could be really helpful.

And yep, I'll have to drive. I've got my son coming for his first Sharkies game, and with him his bags for nappies, food, clothes.... the little diva : )

Thanks guys.

Mate, you're best bet is probably to drive to Sutherland and park in the all day parking at the train station. you can then get a free bus from there to Shark Park. otherwise, you're looking at a decent walk to the ground unless you get there early.

Mate, I get there very early to get a good parking spot, if you're not getting there until after say 2pm, forget it. As Iron said, you're better off driving to Sutherland, parking the car and getting the bus over. I'll be there sometime between 12pm and 1pm and will probably park somewhere in the side streets off Woolooware Rd.

So HB, you are going then?

As slide rule said. Do not park on any median strips or lawns along the Boulevarde, rangers will be around and you will be booked.

I usually park in the industrial zone behind Toyota, or a few blocks back from Wooloware high school.

The easiest thing though is to just catch a train to Wooloware and walk down the road, it's only a 5 minute walk and it saves you a tonne of bs if you end up getting there late.

Guessing you boys aren't the fittest lot out there? In all fairness it's probably more than 5 but it doesn't take me long at all - certainly not enough to get sore feet or out of breath.

It's 1.2km from the station to the ground which obviously includes crossing Captain Cook Drive. You're not doing that in less than 10.

So anything more than 10 minutes is a "bitch of a walk"? Witness the fitness people!
