Don't cross him off the list as although he signed a contract a player as good as him will want a release mid season if he isn't playing first grade, that's where the sharks come in. It doesn't mean he'll get one, like roberts last season but we can try with these guys. burgess said farrar would be his first pick and I agree, he is the best player on the list for mine.

If farrar isn't playing we should go hard for him.

Yeah I know but we should still try to get him if he's not playing as i'm guessing he's on good money and if he's playing NSW cup and he wants out they probs will.

The following outside backs are playing reserve grade this week for other teams. If you had access to these guys, as well as our own backs, who would you choose for wing/centres in the Sharks for Round 1?

Please let me know if there's some good players I've missed and I'll update the list.

Note there are no QLD Cup players as the QLD cup hasn't started yet, however if anyone knows the QLD squads and knows which players didn't make the NRL teams but are fit please let me know. There will no doubt be some Broncos and Cowboys.

I would be happy with any of Sa'u, Lafai, Chambers or Inu in the centres and Whare, Vidot, Reddy or Fisiiahi on the wings.

Unfortunately, I don't think any of them are off contract this year. Maybe Whare- he would make a good wing/centre depth option. Good defender and very quick.

EDIT: The only one I can see shifting is Inu given the fact that there were substantial rumours there earlier and he's from Sydney. But he could well be as frustrating to supporters as Pomeroy has been over the last few years!
