he still is pretty young. It would be good to know what the plan is for him (higher minutes big motor agile, or size and impact It seems like he is kinda in between. I would personally look at adding 5kg to him and see if it helps his impact)
Definitely don't make him lose 10 kilos

Is it just me or is this thread only positive after a win...

Oregon has been solid week in week out IMO. I think critism has been a bit harsh. We have other forwards that can and will bring the highlights but Oregon has shown still he is capable of some good runs alongside working steadily in the middle. never comes to mind as someone that really lets us down

Still only 23 years old and building his experience, that's nothing for a middle forward

Towards the bottom of our pecking order for sure.
Droppable.

But

While it’s not super exciting to watch, let’s not forget he’s there as a grinder not an impact player. He’s 6 months younger than Hazelton and has played 84 NRL games for a reason.
He’s a Tolman type and (should be) well short of his peak yet.
He’s not immune to criticism by any means, just reminding his style (which is what he is selected for) is not gunna give you BHU or Hazelton highlights ever. He’s a bloke you get excited for when he barely manages to score a rare try on his 300th

In saying that Rudolf gets through a lot of work too when going well so if there was no spot for him with Rudolf back it’d probably surprise me a little, but not massively.

His age really puts things in to perspective.

Dont think he's ever going to offer more than a Tolman type but that's ok if we have the right forwards around him. Which we probably dont at this point in time.

I think our pack is fine if it can stay healthy and build some form. It’s frequently interrupted. BHU and Rudolf who should be starting can’t generate any momentum for themselves to build off of.

Be better if we could add a player who is a clear improvement for sure, but that is expensive.

Tolman made a very long very good career out of just working hard and was criticised frequently throughout it by fans who wanted a prop who could do more.

He’s by no means playing well enough he should be a sure thing in a fully healthy 17, just making sure people are aware that what he is there for is not the same thing as Hazelton or some of the other forwards.

Would still have him on our bench over wade. Given Finucane will be out, Toby will come straight into the side for him.

How do you rank our props

1. BHU
2. Toby
3. Hunt
4. Finucane (moves to prop every game)
5. Kaufusi???????
6. Hazelton
