Trying like hell to get Nicho into my team. But no matter who I try to trade out, there is just not enough cash.

So I have gone with trading out Ben Hunt for Sam Walker - I don't like having spine players that the Sharks are playing against.

I went may RTS out, moved Curran to FR and brought in Plath and Garrick.

Back 5 are now Edwards. Iro. Mulitalo, Garrick and Holmes, with CNK as a benchy

Tossing up if I can get a Curran or Kerr as better bye coverage rather than pay up for AFB, then I’d hope to be upgrade to Haas after origin bottomed out

Yeah I made a big mistake not taking Nicho from the beginning. Don't know what I was thinking.

Point of difference. Essentially a player that has a lower percentage ownership. Most teams end up fairly similar with the best scoring players. So most will have Cleary and Nicho in the halves. If Walker goes well, it gives you a point of difference over most of the competition.

One of the key mistakes in SC is 'chasing last weeks points'
Don't get Walker because he scored 172 last round, get Walker if you think he looked good and he and Roosters can replicate that good form.

If you don't think good scores (not necessarily that good) are relaiably repeatable he's only a good buy as an overpriced cash grab.
170 on the back of a 3 does help him be a good price to buy.

170 on the back of a 3 does help him be a good price to buy.

Yeah I know there is always a risk. It's only early in the season and I'm already thinking I'll be better prepared next year!

I wanted to keep RTS but I could afford lomax and Garrick if I traded him so decided to pull the pin.

If you want a cash cow get on Fuller, will get a huge payday and can keep till after SOO when Hammer plays at Center for Queensland. Will get close to trading him straight back into hammer post SOO

FWIW I don’t mind it - he is a good player to watch as well ..

Think I might trade Ola to DFifita, would rather have that 700k earning me points and will probably be able to bring him back in for Smithies in a couple of weeks.

May has to go but because of Flegler I can’t really upgrade there.

Thinking I grab S Fainu (without bin he probably scores around high 40s which is okay for price and against broncos).
Not locked in on him, Kerr and Curran other main considerations.

Then I go Strange to either Plath or Garrick.
I’d DCE gets off probably Garrick but if not, unsure.
