If we don't get the spoon who really gives a flying fornication.
How many teams change the coach mid season and get in the 8. Grow up and accept what it is

Cool, wasn't mid season though. How many teams change their coach after 5 rounds?

How was Magoulias in the second half?

First half I thought he was great. One of only a few hitting and sticking while others were falling off. Also some good offloads and short balls, and he travelled well in defence.

Could prove a masterstroke
BUT, who else does that to a highly regarded individual who bleeds Sharks
Who KNOWS/COACHED/SET UP our juniors
What if the Club and Fitz came up with a win/win /win solution ?
Approached Morris directly and stated you are still highly valued and have done an AWESOME job as a caretaker coach without cap space or the restrictions you've had to deal with .
Bide you time as an assistant and who knows the world could become your oyster .

If Club / Fitz / Morris had worked together .
I am 100% sure they too could have come up with a win/win/win with Morris the assistant coach ( 300K with rewards each year )
Savings made for missing out on Bellamy

Theres no hiding the fact that everything has really gone to **** since Morris was sacked. It left a bitter taste with me as a supporter, and its obviously messed with the players headspace, structures, confidence, etc

But... had the actual players pipped the raiders and not crumbled against the roosters, where would we be right now? They couldn’t have sacked him with 4/5 and having bEaTeN a ToP 8 tEaM, then we might have had some momentum going into newcastle & bulldogs.... 6/7.... they probably would have lost their opportunity to sack him mid-season and things could be rosy as **** right now.

Or not. Who the **** knows...

I hope the board see they made the biggest problem, we were going quite well with Morris despite getting the sack. Obviously the players have been taken down by the decision too much. I have a feeling we'd be doing so much better if Bomber was still around. The players just seem to have lost their interest, they just tend to give up after 2-3 tries unfortunately. Imo all we can do is blame our board.

This is so hard to watch.

The board should be made to watch endless replays Monday morning.

I know their intentions were probably honourable but not having football backgrounds, Dino and Mace seriously underestimated the fallout from removing the coach five rounds in.

In the business world, they probably made these types of decisions constantly but the effect would not have been felt by them, only by others down the corporate ladder.

A football club is such a different beast. The players obviously are not playing for their interim coach or the board.

Can’t see this improving and I’m sorry to say we are heading for the wooden spoon.

Saved me a long post - nailed it ....

I just wonder what all the new sponsors are thinking? Bet they didn't expect this when they signed on.

I’ve been following the Sharks now for almost 50 years and I know we’ve had our ups and downs but I can’t remember feeling as low as this. Even the peptide scandal, the salary cap issues, the 70 odd point thrashing by Parra don’t compare to this at the moment.

It’s demoralising, embarrassing, annoying, frustrating and just downright sad.

I honestly don’t know where we go from here.

You must of missed the 03 and 09 seasons.

As **** as we are going now, we still have a better squad then both of those years, and more chance of winning some games during the year.

No recovering anything from this season if we can’t keep some players on the park. Injury toll and resulting shuffle and reshuffle has been ridiculous.
If we can get our boys back and competition for spots we hopefully can lift our efforts a bit more and scrape together a few more wins this year.
