Imagine being him watching this **** show tonight. These are his two options. It’s like that South Park episode where he’s got to pick between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

Just gotta hope he doesn't want to move to queensland for a giant douche

The six again is so selective, you can literally find ruck infringements every tackle. If you getting the calls with the ball you can dominate and other side is blown away. You rarely see set for set football.

IMO it needs a lot of adjustments, you want a penalty in your own end to get out of trouble set restarts on early tackles does sweet **** all.

We had the Storm on the ropes and they gave restarts after restarts away yet no penalty or sin bin. Then of corse we take over and **** it anyway with a bombed try
I never payed the game so I don’t really understand the mechanics of it, but I’ve often wondered why they don’t just have a fixed period of time for the defending team to release and clear the ruck after held is called. And put the onus entirely in the defending team to do that. So if they have three bodies stacked on top of each other it doesn’t matter, it’s their job to clear in time. Then the refs can just penalise attackers for holding defenders.

To be fair, Reynolds would only be playing with a handful of this side based on current form

Magoulias. I never seem to notice him when he is on the field. Not sure if he offers too much. I think he may have peaked when his kicks won the 2 Finals for the Jets back in 2019

I’ve just got home in time to watch the start of the second game tonight.

Boys.......it could be worse.

Unfortunately Reynolds not watching this game as he has to tuck his 11 kids into bed

So Kevvy Walters has made a change in the halves & look at them since the early part? Josh Hannay surely has to make a change in our line-up, Ricky did too but they didn't get up though. If we persist with that same line-up I swear I won't bother next week!

Kevvy changes his halves every week mate. Blind squirrel blah blah blah.

Also - Gamble has always been better than Dearden. Broncos were just playing Dearden on potential.

Are we going to have just 1 week this year where every player is fit and available? I’m talking about our best 17.

I would take 1 week in the last 3 years - our best 17 is a mythical unicorn, it might exist but no one has ever seen it

I thought we might step it up last night and come out with more intent and better attitude than last week before ultimately getting run down by the storm and we did look alot better starting the game. I liked the spreading the ball early, we looked aggressive and positive, throwing some caution to the wind almost as if it doesn't matter anymore but we wern't going to outgrind the storm like we used to be capable of so the plan made sense and the storm did get unsettled helped by some decent sharks defense

but the storm did alot more than run away with it eventually, they were scoring very easy try's by the end

Also there was a set where we received 3 set restarts infringements against the storm (the bell was going crazy) and I think they were all on like 1st or 2nd tackle yet no disciplinary action taken against storm and no penalty given to us

Walters has been changing the halves all season, he was bound to jag a result sooner or later

We're not going to be competitive for a couple of years, far too much deadwood.

I'm not so sure.
The first half of that last game gave us glimpse's of what we are capable of ( most games this year too )
If those two ruled forward passes were caught a metre back, we'd have been in the box seat .
Lots of bad luck / injuries these last two years .
In 2020 when we had the likes of Hunt , Talakai and Uele coming off the bench , smashing opposition packs in defence , creating havoc in attack , we were easily able to go forward .
We could match it with the top packs and create momentum for the backline . Unfortunately we couldn't have the same 2 fit halves pairings on in a row due to injury .
In 2021 I don't think a Sharks pack containing Williams , Magoulus , Woods and Tolman strikes fear into any opposition .
Our squad just need Toby , Hunt , Talakai and Uele to be assisted by one or two other aggressive forward weapons .
With two gun halves and we could be top 6 before we know it, even as early as 2022.
Provided we iron our defence out also

Too many things have to fall into place with that scenario egg.
We’re still behind the 8 ball.
