The defending team should deliberatly break early to give away a penalty. Can't kick for goal so you lose nothing, and it gives you a chance to set your defence.

That’s my thought, they were just taking the piss to stifle our attack. The left hard and chased on Johnson, so we replay that section and go for the exact same play and get belted.

Thats the point of changing on the run. As thresh said we should have changed our play, fake and call something else, even risky but a little kick behind the rushing Defence.

Only just learned this last week, but I think penalties given away while a scrum is in play is a differential penalty. You can’t take the 2 on those

Been that way forever mate. Well done. :borat

Geez it’s tough times for all things Sharks atm.
We were lucky to beat a Cowboys team last weekend minus JT.

Yesterday, we get rolled by a team who’s only other wins for virtually half a season were the competition’ perennial easy beats (we are fast getting closer to that ‘esteemed company’ viewed by RL fans).

This weekend, We play another of the teams that most teams rub their hands together knowing they’ll accumulate some good F&G & I can honestly see us struggling, as talent less as the Dogs are atleast they show some grit & as a collective team will have a go.

In a few short seasons we have quickly lost our clubs DNA, or it atleast appears that way as a supporter looking in from outside the inner sanctum.

I get it we can’t always be challenging for the for the comp, every team has cycles or windows with their rosters but I miss the days knowing whilst we don’t have the most talented team, regardless, the team will turn up, give the 80 mins a red hot go, win, lose or draw, I’m happy about that, we don’t even do that anymore.

I was one of many calling for Flanno to be sacked, whinging about direction, about coach decision-making, about our squad and it's depth etc etc. Different yes, but totally different?

Me too.

We had leaders though. Now we have Wade and that's about it.

We should go

Kennedy 1
Chad 9 (25 minutes)
Moylan 6
Johnson 7

Brailey 14
BHU 15
Royce Hunt 16
Talakai 17

Sorenson to start. I think Nikora is about 5-8kg too light.

Fk Chad. I don’t want to see him nowhere near our team. It’s time to move on

How did you feel in 2013/14? Did you honestly believe we'd be premiers in 2016?

2013 we were playing a very good brand of football even amongst the asada bull**** that was front and centre of our seasons. Went to week 2 of the semis and were a John Morris **** up short of making it to week 3.

2014, we were ****, had no Flanno. Players not respecting the stand ins. Front office issues. Sponsor issues. Massive injury concerns......

2015......we were almost there. Played really well and were just a piece or 2 short

2016.... almost perfect all year. Maybe 2-3 games where we lost our bundle
