It looked like that at the time. He might have planned to reach back to collect the ball but forgot that there were opposition players that wanted it too.

I hate to single out players but Kennedy was one of the main culprits of that tonight & he's the full back. If he keeps doing that & shows he doesn't have top confidence to catch a high ball then he should be out, that is one of the simple skills a full back has to have.

Yeah, any player who can't catch every high ball in swirling winds, with gusts up to 60klm/hr, shouldn't be in the team.
