We beat the raiders because we were better and more determined than them over the full 80 mins - nice to see Ricky jumping the gun and already looking ahead to the Grand Final with the toughest task in the league facing him this weekend. Is he delusional or just playing games, either way I don't care. It's refreshing that our coach isn't putting pointless drivel out there and blaming other teams tactics and refs and instead just focusing on preparations and what's in our control in these weeks ahead.
Flanno isn't perfect but I can respect that.
And if we are good enough to get away with some stuff out there so be it, no one's gunna feel sorry for us if another team does it to us. Storm, Manly ect they have won premierships in passed years and they didn't care about playing nice and fair. They did what they had to win and that's the sort of thing we could be up against. The haters need to remember that officiating is a lottery so you gotta take what you can get and play to it.
Other teams interested in actually winning games would kill for the so called 'nigglers and grubs' we have in Ennis, Fifita, Gal ect they just won't admit it
