Son of Jason Williams the winger (not the Sharks prop)

Watched him last Sunday and really impressed me with his aggression and speed. Interesting to see how he goes in Cup. My only concern is size. Looks quite skinny, needs to bulk up a fair bit.

Maybe. It's about strength more than size though. Ronnie is skinny - or maybe "wiry" is a better word. Williams is very young too. Late birthday I believe so won't be 20 until around the finals. I want to see him play 20+ Cup games this year, play some cup finals games and earn a spot in the top 30.

Not sure I'd call Ronnie skinny mate, I've been up close to him and he's huge. And I am a big guy too but I'd never want to tackle him.
But, yes, love to see if he can play 20+ cup games and see how he goes. Certainly has the talent that's for sure.

I like him getting game time for the Jets, he just seems a competitor and footy player. Obviously loves a niggle and wants to win.

Not sure if we see him stay there all season but flair in and out like seems a common theme for those coming through. Individual performances and injuries will decide that and probably easier for a winger to make the step up than forwards

Seems very popular with the boys as the Flegg and others were sitting near me during the game and cheering him on

Probably needs to give up the goal kicking license though haha

Williams in his debut was solid in addition to the try. Nothing spectacular but he had some good carries and was safe. The Roosters ran some tires through his edge but it wasn’t on him. They were done for numbers.

Jets have the bye so he is back in Flegg this week.
