TRUE, but the other 5% ? :)
That’s @bort, @Sparkles and I. We’d roofie him, extract some DNA, and use it to take over the world with Chad minions.

To be clear, I’d be doing the roofie’ing and one of the other blokes would be doing the extraction.

Genuinely some of the worst game management I’ve seen from a halfback in a while.

Ronaldo showed in the first few minutes that the debutant Te Whare was going to have shaky defence, and for some unknown reason Nicho decided he’d attacked down our right edge the entire night with zero success.

Despite us have success at the end of the first half with back to back tries, minutes apart from attacking down the left edge. Nicho decided he’d come back out in the second half… and do the exact same thing and stubbornly attack down the right edge.

The only defence I could potentially give him, is if Fitzy told him to only attack down the right edge and that he was banned from the left side of the ruck.

Still reckon he is a 6.

I think he needs to adapt to not being the dominant half to allow a game managing half to play alongside him.

He’s a super talent, and we will win games with him at 7, but I’m not sure it can take the team to a grand final.

Go back and watch the the last 5 or so minutes of the 2nd half and you'll see that during the 2 tries that were scored Moyza was playing half-back and Nicho shifted to the left and to 5/8th.

2 tries scored.

Then reverted back to tradional for a majority of the second half.

So it was noted by someone either in the box or on the field but went away from it

They’ve been doing that all year. Just leans into Hynes being a 6

I agree, which is what makes it baffling.

While Moylan was roaming around and playing both sides of the ruck, Hynes just seemed to play majority of his game on the right edge.

As you said, the few times he did venture across and link with Moylan we either scored or got close to scoring. Either Hynes had horrendous game management or it’s something Fitzy wanted.

Either way it really cost us tonight.

If this means he avoids the NSW setup that's fantastic. Freddy is cooked and the games will just be Fifita running at him or a bunch of late hits by Kaufusi and Gilbert.

So Moylan is a 7 then?

If Hynes is going to play six, then the halfback to partner him needs to be a game manager that has a great short kicking game, a superb show&go and most importantly, exceptional defence. It would also be incredibly beneficial if this halfback was bald and his name was Jeff Robson.

Essentially, bring back Jeff Robson.

At least Robbo could tackle.
