Blaming himself a bit .
Doesn't need to
Toby made 2 hard straight runs and the rest of the pack thought that was enough effort for the night.
Impossible for the halves to bring their "A" game without forward pack momentum

Need Hunt and Talakai back in the middle.

Completely agree.

Hard to be blaming the backs when there was zero platform or threat coming through the middle.

Emotions are high from a lot of you blokes which is understandable but I thought he was great. Not only last night but all season.

There are certainly some points he’d like to take back last night, but he couldn’t have been faulted for his effort. If I recall correctly, every long range break that Souths made, Nicho was back making the chase and often making the tackle.

The comment about needing a new mind coach is one of the most outlandish I’ve ever heard. Nicho has the best mindset and mental fortitude of anyone in the competition.

For his first full season at halfback in the top grade, to take his side to second on the ladder, a likely Dally M medal, and most importantly the leadership, winning mentality he exudes and brings to this club is absolutely outstanding.

We truly have been kissed on the proverbial pecker having him in our team.

Totally agree ,
I was only passing on his own assessment of his game last night.
He just wants to be where he's heading to ASAP.
Be nice to cop a couple more pecker kissing signings in the off season too .

Suggest he watches a few videos of Cleary's games during the offseason on how to control a game & win over 80 minutes .

I like this kid. Everything about him tells me that he will be analysing his game and the season over and over again and will do everything he can to improve.

He was not as effective last night but our forwards got dominated. When that happens, everything else falls apart.

Talakai a GREAT bench option .
Just would hope he copped that role sweet
Other clubs might offer 80 minute Centre money
Yep
Hes exactly what we nees coming off the bench after 20 mins.
Someone who just runs hard and straight in the middle.
But that said we need a decent replacement at centre.

This guy has been an absolute shining light this season , his first full season as a starter in the hardest position . His learning curve has been huge but he has accepted every challenge full on , he has deficiencies and he has worked hard to improve them , how good will he be with this season and another off season . He needs someone alongside him to share the load , but even then he just steps up and does what needs to be done .
With him and Fitz at the club the future is bright , now time to build the team around him .
He all class

Start Sifa on the left edge , then rotate him through the middle - replaced by Teig.

For this to happen - a big decision needs to be made with Wade , which is long odds ..

Amazing season, and to think his first full season starting and in the halves. Only going to be better next year, you can bet he’s already looking at how he can be better.
