I reckon having those older heads around him (Dale, McInnes then Fifs and Wado) would really be helping him on the field.

He is developing nicely. He will have those dips now and again. Unfortunately against Brisbane 3 or 4 other players had off games as well.

They are the 'committee' who keeps us grounded and on plan where we lack an experienced game manager.

Nicho Hynes carried the Sharks on his back as they had to contend with only 12 men following Will Kennedy's dismissal. Hynes played a mixture of halfback and fullback en route to the fourth highest ever score in Fantasy, notching up 132 points — over 40 points clear of the next highest score in the round.

It's interesting listening to non Sharks supporters on Nicho. On the Bloke podcast today they all agreed Nicho played the best out of all the 7s this week and was near a 10 out of 10 performance

We have someone really special here. I know Cleary is way ahead in terms of runs on the board as a half but the versatility of Nicho being able to cover fullback (and probably other positions if need be) is invaluable. Yesterday was a prime example. The bloke played two positions at once!

Will be demanding mega $$ in a couple of years if he keeps on this trajectory.

Yep. No doubt next year we will be looking to upgrade and extend him to keep him here long term. He will probably be looking at a 50% upgrade.

Can this guy get any better???

What a bloody brilliant idea!

Sharks halfback Nicho Hynes is getting widespread positive feedback after posting on social media that all 16 NRL teams should wear special jerseys for Magic Round along the lines of the Nines outfits from recent years.

Hynes put out on Twitter that he’d “had a thought that I need eveyone’s opinion” with the idea being to raise money for charities by autographing and auctioning off the unique game-worn jerseys.

“Each club has to have a sick designed jersey to wear in the game. A bit like how clubs design cool jerseys for the 9s but go all out. Since it’s such a good spectacle imagine sick jerseys to go with,” he wrote.

“Then the players sign the jersey they wore and clubs auction them off to fans and raise some money for different charities… Thoughts?”

More than 1200 fans have liked the post on Twitter and it’s sparked more than a hundred comments with fans dusting off pictures of long-forgotten club jerseys which they think should get another airing.

Hynes has been moved to fullback for Sunday’s Magic Round clash with Canberra at Suncorp Stadium in a backline reshuffle after Will Kennedy and centre Jesse Ramien were suspended for high shots in Cronulla’s epic victory over the Warrriors at Shark Park last Sunday.

So is Nicho probably NSW 14 now?
Not sure. Filter mention both Nicho or Wighton for possible 14. He likes sticking with incumbents so could go either way.

On current form it's a no brainer.
