Is there even a point to vote?
Looks like it's a fan vote that doesn't have any impact on who actually wins the award:

The nominee with the most votes wins $3,500 to give back to their Junior Rugby League Club and becomes an automatic finalist in the Top 4.

Oh yeah, forgot about him. Got to wonder how many points have Cleary, Api and Luai have taken off of him in the count though.
I think he was 5 or 6 behind, but given the games their halves have missed he could easily be a chance to come home with a wet sail. Hopefully Nicho has just done enough to keep the gap open.

Yeo was taking a tonne of votes to start season. I'd think he's more a threat than Edwards.
He got 3 votes in games Panthers fans didn't even think he deserved 1

Could be right. Yeo was right up the top end. Other one that could score a sneaky few points every round is teddy. He always seems to find a way up there.

I know Teddy got picked for Origin and all (though is an incumbent) but what were his performances like earlier in the year in the Roosters bad patch ? It's been a long year and I just can't remember

Think he would be behind those other names mentioned

Speaking of those other names mentioned, Nicho is the only one of them that has come into a new club and not only that but in a new position

Those other players are more settled and established, I know it prob doesn't effect the votes much but it's quite remarkable when considered that Nicho is in the running
