Bringing in Frederic Michalak to help with the goal kicking seems to have worked.

I was worried that he'd be upset about the submarines.
He hasn’t missed since he got back from Covid has he?

He mentioned his kicking coach being in Melbourne, always felt that in person coaching is required so seems like it’s paying off

I know when I have online meetings I'm hardly paying attention either!

Glad he slotted it because I thought he was garbage otherwise
Definitely, Nicho was poor apart from that - and has been the last few weeks.
I know Fitzy has encouraged him to play what he sees, but you need patience too, to mount pressure against the good sides - he often takes the wrong option, runs around like a chook with his head cut off, and leaves his teammates confused. As for that pass in the last 10 minutes with the game in the balance

And Nico's long kicking game - it sucked last night.
Kept going high but short, instead of long into the corners when we really needed it.
He is capable of longer kicks & the floating bomb, but we sure didn't see them last night.

His kicking got us some results like the Ronnie try

the short high ones are often intentional to give our chasers a chance and to avoid kicking it dead. it worked alot of the time against souths with us batting the ball back or forcing a souths mistake. We have been doing it pretty much all season

some were not intentional or were miskicks. he was under pressure from souths defenders rushing him most of that game. might be why Moylan was used more as a kicking option that usual.

Nicho picked a good game to nail all his conversions

They did not let him kick comfortably though. They put a lot of pressure on him. Can't we do something for Nicho when he is kicking like the Panthers are doing for Cleary?

Last couple of weeks he has attracted a fair bit of attention when kicking. Probably because teams know Moylan is never going to be used as a yardage kicker.

It's another reason why every now and then Brailey should back himself and strike a few.

Something I've noticed about Hynes' kicking in general play is that he winds the leg back a bit.

He's got such phenomenal power in that kicking leg that he doesn't want to let it all loose at once in case the ball gets lost in someone's backyard in a distant suburb.

Lots of upscale to come as he achieves understanding through practice and training.

Agreed. But he is romping the online sharks man of the match
I can understand that. He has his hands on the pill most of the time and he is very popular among the fans.

They're always going to think of him first before anyone else.

Plus he wanted to be the main man for us, and is the main man for us and we are winning game of football.

Going alright for a side with a spine of
Kennedy: bog average, no support, won't defend, can't make decisions anymore. Should look at replacing.
Moylan: can't kick, can't run, should never have been re-signed. Should look at replacing.
Hynes: a fullback pretending to be a half who just runs around like he has no idea all game. Should play a different position.
Brailey: offers nothing in attack, never makes line breaks, should kick more but doesn't. Should look at replacing.

Apart from the spine you are getting other players with targets on their backs also. Wade, Fifita, Nikora, etc.

Always seems some people aren't happy with some players no matter how the team was going.

Imagine if we were Titans, Tigers or Knights. Wow.

...Katoa, Hunt, Ramien, Tracey...

Sitting alright given half our team is garbage haha
But especially given how terrible our spine apparently is. Lucky we have Dale, Toby and McInnes to carry us.

I honestly believe that we are managing to hold onto the top 4 spot due to the inconsistency of the other teams. Also Storm, Rabbits and Roosters are off this year.

I don’t necessarily believe we are better than these other teams.
