I would rissole this bloke in the blink of an eye for an experienced half that knew how to close out or clawback a game.

No one in particular in mind. And maybe it is not that simple in 2026 NRL. If the game doesn’t pump the brakes a bit on speed of the game and all-out attack with massive score lines, I have to worry because I find something else to watch. Really not enjoying the season. Pity because I thought last year with excellent.

TBH I think part of what I am enjoying about it currently is how much all my SC players are scoring because of how ridiculously fast it is

Yeah he can try that experiment at another club. If we came to that conclusion before his contract up just get rid of him. Plenty of clubs would still pick up his contract.
 
I reckon if we had 2022 Hynes (i.e. his pace and body size) in today's game, he would be killing it.

Ever since he's bulked up, he's not as effective, like he's good, but not 2022 good.
