Our attack does not suit either halves, at all.

It's simple, have both halves linking. When attacking right you go Tricky to Hynes and on the left Hynes to Tricky. Create more options in attack rather than one dominate their own side.

It really bugs me, because it's our obvious strength to have Hynes and Trindall play off each other.

Trindall sometimes struggles with last minute decisions of when to pass or kick whereas Hynes I feel has that as his strength. While Trindall has more strength at first receiver and having Hynes be his link or decoy.

As he is considered an elite half, his kicking game will be compared to likes of Moses, Cleary, Reynolds , DCE etc , in my opinion it’s the biggest thing holding him back from being that next level player because the rest of his game is strong

It’s simply not though and I don’t think it’s worth wasting emotion worrying about.
We have the solution in his halves partner.

It’s not like he’s paid far more than all those guys (bar the ARey broncos bargain).

If he can find a way to build it, great. If he can’t, fine, Trindall takes most of the kicks.

It’s barely more realistic than wishing Trindall could move like Munster (and I’d actually take that one over the Hynes kicking if I could choose)

I’m not particularly emotional when talking about it. I’m just saying his kicking game is the biggest weakness he has compared to the other gun number 7s.

I'll go one further.
The Sharks have the talent to switch sides of field very rapidly , causing havoc to oppositions defenses via long quick accurate passes to a DEEP backline. giving one on ones.
Brailey to Trindall ( or via ball playing lock/forward first ) to Nicho to centres with Kennedy lurking just behind summing up where to inject.
When is the last time we did this ?

What is the Sharks DNA ?
Gritty defense for sure , but like Brisbane exciting flamboyant attack ( both Rogers era's ).
We are BORING in attack , especially since we left the successful slingshot in the change rooms, it REALLY Sux watching one edge attack

We definitely needed to chance our hand a little more. The middle grind was a deadlock and it was the creativity of Munster, Paps and Hughes that broke the deadlock. We just needed to take a few.more shots.

he picked the right pass to kennedy for our first
he put billy through a hole for out second
he got nikora over the line which would have leveled us up. great tackle by munster
he shouldnt have dropped that pass and he could have kick better in general play but he wasnt alone in those 2 areas

We don't have the quality of those players in our team.
 
Not his best game but unfortunately we were off across the park .
If he can't get his in play kicking sorted in the off season then he needs to have his foot removed .
I have no idea why someone can't improve their kicking game , it's just practice on your technique .
