nice, elusive. found a way through some gaps and then pops an offload. good to see him play halves. but he has proven lately he is a weapon from anywhere.

I still can’t believe we got rid of John Morris

yeah, that happened didn't it

He was at sixes and sevens

:lmao:lmao

Don't like him with short hair!

I love that the club included Fifita, well done all around.

I thought the same, however in the article it makes a point of mentioning..
"Fifita was there because his brother is one of Hynes closest mates"
Another way of saying if that wasn't the case he wouldn't have been included.
The man is a club legend, I hold him in the same light as Gallen and Lewis, he should have been there regardless.

They would have gotten the bloke who cleans the bog to attend if they thought it'd get Hynes' arse on it for next season!

Remember it was Rothfield, he will bring Fifita down at any opportunity

He is, should be treated as such until he’s gone - his input and what he’s given to the club is gold. Can see him being a good mentor when his time is up

ARey was an awesome miss.

not necessarily

from a cap / long term point of view yes I suppose but imagine if we secured ARey and still landed Hynes that could have been a damn fine pairing but don't get me wrong I am prob even more excited about SJ / Hynes who I think will feed off each others energy and creativity - points for days with that combo and SJ is young enough to stay at a high level providing he stays fit and in form . surely SJ sees the 'value' in hanging around now and Fitz will give him the rub and tug to convince him we want him as part of our lofty plans for 2022 and beyond

The Daily Telegraph reported 48 hours earlier that incoming Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon has met with Hynes and his father at the Kincumber Hotel on the Central Coast.

lol for once it was 48 hours and no one picked up on it that it was a legit deal in the works until the time had elapsed :( :) :D

Whoever missed ARey probably gets Hynes between us & Brisbane.

ARey too much for too long & the blokes heart is at Redfern.

Just need to sign SJ now and I think we'll have a very handy halves pairing

Wow this came out of the blue certainly was not expecting this all of a sudden. Either way what a top coup for us & shows my confidence with Fitzy & his long term plans for us now. If we included Galls, Lewis, Fifita & our chairman in the talks aswell that is probably a positive sign if 2 top former players are willing to get involved in signings now aswell.

Pair him with SJ over Moylan for next year & that will be a pretty good pairing for at least a year & then we can find someone else within a number of years. Also helps if Kennedy gets an injury or suspension next year I'd presume he'd take the FB spot for a week or 2.

Without sounding like a total bastard but hoping that Cameron Munster misses a few games this season!
Not cos I wish harm on him but more so that Nicho gets more game time in the halves.

Yeah the more game time he gets this year the better. Hope they win the comp and he gets more big game experience. Though I prefer they win over Penrith before this anyway
