Official Nicho Hynes

Anyone see Marcia's kick from the sideline on the tryline, over in training in the US for a bet. UNBELEIVABLE kick, good signs indeed.
 
Nicho was goal kicking very well earlier 2024, was on goal streak of 11 or 14 or something kicked without a miss from all parts of the field.

Later on he lost his radar again

I think Woodys or Fifita, mabye BHU someone like that (a forward) pulled off one of those curve it back in type kicks from the tryline at training years ago

Finished second highest conversion rate of regular kickers still
 
Nichos goal kicking is an underrated part of his game, very reliable

He goes through patches of his radar being on and off but so does Trindall

Hynes has had some terrible runs of goal kicking form and some excellent runs of form

That french guy or whatever he brought in seems to have helped alot for the most part
 
Thought he has a good first half and looked dangerous running. Would have liked some more from him in he second.

Has anything been said about the goal kicking?

I think his involvement was the same all game. He rolls up the sleeves. Really at this point inthink we can all see that its Trindall directing play, Nicho is doing a lot of running.

I wasnt completely unhappy sith his performance, i thought Nicho was pretty solid really.

Best defensive team of the last 5 years, cant expect him to be putting up big attacking stats

Yeah I was relatively happy with his game. Thought he looked pretty dangerous running the ball and set up a beauty for Ramien. Also did a really nice pass that set us up for what should’ve been a try with two minutes to go.

Not getting as involved with the general kicking is a good thing for us, because Trindall has the better boot. Although I was a bit surprised he has relinquished the goalkicking duties

Yeah agree wasn't unhappy. Just would have liked to see him go after it a bit more in the last 30. Tricky was going well though so the balance works.

Do you think he has? Nicho kicked in the trial? Seems odd to do that if he wasn't going to be the kicker.

Nicho took first one on the left in trial then Trindall took next one on the right, wondered if it was a ‘give it to the stronger kicker from each side’ situation but obviously not.

Have to trust the better percentage guy will have the job I guess
