Not sure if anyone agrees but man he sounds like a bloke still hung up about his ex when he talks about Storm.

I understand they gave him a chance but hopefully he can move on and talk Sharks more.

Yeah I do see where you’re coming from but I think they’re the club that gave him a start when no one else would and made him the player to an extent that’s gotten him a fat contract with us.

I think once he starts training he’ll be all Shark. He’s already mentioned how grateful he is for us having faith in him.

I'd cut him some slack. He still hasn't even had time to give away his kit to one of his vlog subscribers

I like that he's still hung up on his old team. Shows loyalty and commitment. He left on great terms, can't expect him to suddenly dislike his old family.

PS only just noticed your last post mr sharkie haha

He also talked very glowingly of his time at Manly and was pretty excited about heading to North QLD.

I think he’s just an upbeat sort of guy.

Just listening to it now while working. Bloody Warriors tried to pinch him (if they did we would have kept Metcalf I imagine), Dragons, a couple of others.. the Storm apparently offered a good contract to play back-up.

Definitely does sound like an upbeat guy, especially with all the family dramas.

Really interesting listening to him talk about Slater's coaching. What a difference it makes to have people involved with that kind of input. We really need top shelf half/fullback/hooker coaching assistants onboard to help out our young players.

All in all sounds like a decent guy. Maybe not an Ennis/Slater level footy brain but smart enough to run the plays and good enough to make them work. You could imagine there being a great combo with a fit Moylan.

I'm still struggling to imagine it.

I find it pretty easy to imagine TBH
I just have to imagine it works so well we never need to make long kicks as I don't have much of a frame of reference for that...
