Maybe a little. But Trindall was very good in his absence so maybe not. Feel like we lost for other reasons.
We didn’t lose because of Trindall but Hynes might have made up for the reasons we lost potentially in my opinion

Serious question:

Would us having Nicho in Round 1 seen us closer to a win or would we still have suffered defeat?
Who can say, mate. But if history is anything to go by... well, round 1 history... nope :)

But if we're talking recent form history, then Nicho would have been great and as a result so would have Moylan. Not to take anything away from Tricky's efforts, but Moylan was poor without his regular halves partner. Having those two firing would have defininitely made a difference to our clunky attack (though probably not Moylan's defence).

In your head, rent free
Hynes wouldn't have won that game for us.
there is no way to say he would or wouldnt have

for mine, if hynes plays we are ahead at the break and its a different ball game in the second half

its the little things, i bet anything that the touchie doesnt call that pass to katoa forward if hynes thrrows it

i also bet we are better at building pressure with hynes there

we may still have lost, but we would have capitalised on more if he played

Agree. Trindall didnt touch the ball in the 2nd half

Yeah maybe

Hynes maybe also doesn't convert the goals Trindall did.

Surely this is a big generalisation. I can tell you he definitely touched it at least once. When he failed to find touch!
I wonder if that technically goes down as a touch or a kick or nothing as it is part of a set restart.

A tap wouldn't count as a kick but presumably is a touch as the ball becomes live while you have it. Does the ball become live while the kicker has it? Nobody can do anything with it until after the point it has been kicked at which stage Trindall no longer has it...

More in-depth than I think you were trying to go with the comment...

I knew that but didn't realise we weren't allowed to respond to those.

I was asking a question but you didn't answer it so I guess we don't always get the response we are after.

I believe it would have counted as a complete set
