Official Newtown Jets + Sharks Pathways 2026

Sharks have announced dates for 2027 pathways trials. Application are on the link..

Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story...

The SG Ball and Matthews Cup Sharks teams both narrowly missed the 2026 finals, despite recording some impressive wins against highly rated opposition throughout the season.

Also Dargons.

My son played against a Darcy Wilson in cricket, I wonder if it’s the same kid. My boy is 16 so the age fits.

Played for St Pats and goes to St Pats at Sutho I think.

@Sharks NRL Prospects was wondering who’s ageing out of Flegg this year and I know you track alot of this.

Assuming Xavier and Nikora are. Probably Sandy.

Setefano ?
Much of the main 17 will age out. Easier to name the ones who won’t.

Williams, PLS, Tannous, Hromow, Alex C.

Obviously not the ones who played SG Ball this year either. There are 6 of those named today.

Also most of the guys on the Pirates are 19 or 20 this year.

Can put up a full list later.

Pirates WON A GAME!!!!!

Absolute buzzer beater.

Down by 4… Ollie Lester put in a late grubber which the opposition fullback fumbled. Scrum was fed with about 5 seconds to play.

Tyrel Lafituanai chipped from the scrum…
Tom “never made it as a” Wiseman scored in the corner as the siren sounded.

Tyrell then banged it over from the sideline for the W.

Losing sucks. I hope these boys celebrate all night.

Prestyn Laine-Sietu was sent off late in the game yesterday for something off the ball after a try was scored. The camera didn't capture it. Was some push and shove so possibly threw a punch.
