Official Newtown Jets + Sharks Pathways 2026

That's what I was wondering too haha

See it got cleared up though
Yeah - confusing language when I just copied/pasted. Sorry. I should have added something like this...

Massive congratulations to our incredible Sharkie, Yuri Hromow! Yuri a (Belconnen) Sharkies junior since 2012 has just signed a two year deal for the 2025 (U19’) & 2026 (U21s) seasons with the Cronulla Sharks! We are beyond proud of this absolute legend

Yeah I remember you mentioning him a few years ago when talking about school rep teams. Was Bulldogs originally wasn't he? Has a brother who goes well too I believe.
yep bulldogs 2 times i think GF winner, Penriff were interested several yrs ago. Good and lucky player, won heaps of GFs. not sure of Bro. And i see my other Tip is back to play in the QLd CUP with his Cousin

Thanks Gumby, looking for junior reps teams / squads, boys & girls. Noting trial games are on this weekend, thought there might be some lists out somewhere.

There's none out. The sharks done publish too much about the junior teams and their signings. There is usually a release when the final Ball and Matts squads are out.

No official list but there is some scattered info on the forum.

- SF has a list of the official signings on the main forum. Quite a few junior/Flegg players in there.
- There are some players training with the NRL squad
- If you look through the last few pages I've listed quite a few players from SG Ball who have appeared in the last two trials,
- a page or two back samshark has listed a handful of guys who are training with the Jets

For girls the LF summer squads was listed on Code Sports a few days ago. For TG they just listed a few players.

Lisa Fiaola Summer squad: Abbee Piggott, Abby Jordan, Alaiela Dargin-Bell, Ana Niuila, Atereana Kahukura, Bianca Booth, Bronte Smith, Chelsea Tyrrell, Daisy Pipe, Desiree Koliloa, Emelia Cacciotti, Evie Perry, Evie Walker, Gabriella Darmody, Halo Adams, Jade White, Janarah Walford, Jordyn McFadden, Kaylin Delaney, Kira Morison, Layla Vecchi, Lilly Pickering, Lorelli Kidman, Macey Kenworthy, Maddison Higgins, Madison Andracchio, Manaia Waiariki-Wilson, Meah Beecham, Mila Cappello, Molly Cowling, Nancy Nisa, Neha Smith, Qwynn Teariki-Luamanu, Rylee Henderson, Saige Fattore, Sarah Price, Shayleen Coe, Sophie Gilchrist, Susana Latukefu

Tarsha Gale

Players to Watch:
A long time star of junior reps, Koffi Brookfield enters her final season before ageing out. A former half in the Illawarra pathways, she continues to impress at hooker where she scored a try in last season’s HNWP decider.

A halfback with all the skills, Ella Ropata is another who has risen through to the senior ranks for Cronulla and in local competitions. A major threat in attack, she can break the line and open the door for the outside backs.

In the pack, Genevieve Mafi is an up-and-coming front-rower who didn’t look out of place in the senior grades last season.

watched the junior lads against the dogs yesterday. HM showed some good glimpses but it definately looked like a trial match with poor ball control and fatigue in the heat.

SG was a lot more entertaining and we dominated the first half after being under early pressure. i recognised a few of the boys Dellow was busy and a handful in both attack and defence. Lester was very involved. our whole backline looked like clean finishers and sealed most opportunities. i dont know who the 5/8 was but he was impressive in all aspects. wore headgear like Grantham but seemed a little darker in skin colour. we had a couple of big boppers up front, one lad was head and shoulders above the rest but still handled the agility and pace of the game well. couple of our back rowers were very strong on defence especially text book one on one tackles against a fiery dogs pack.

be nice to have a squad list soon surely theyve finalised their teams there were only 9 or 10 on the bench. i think they'll be in for a good season tho

Maybe Grantham with a summer tan haha

6 was definitely Grantham.

Towering prop is Jamie Curran.

Also from the starting team…

Beattie right wing
Challenor halfback
Frost the other starting prop

I also have a funny story about one of the Bulldogs HM’s players who is from Brisbane. He was #24 and played left wing in the second half…

My son played against him in a school game last year. My boy pulled off an absolutely bone rattler on #24. Tackle of the tournament. His school put the whole game up on Youtube but edited out that tackle. Scumbags.

Alex Challenor is shown in the training photos from the Lennox Head camp. He's shown up a few times in other pre-season photos but I don't think he's been mentioned previously as being one of the pre-season T&T players.

@SF No thread for him. For those that don't know of him, he was NSW U16's City/Country in 2022, Sharks junior player of the year in 2023, Australian schoolboys and NSW City/Country U18's in 2024, SG Ball captain last year. In one of those lists the journos like to put together they had him ranked as the #8 schoolboy in 2024 (Williams #3 and Dellow #13 on the same list).

Turning 20 so first year of Flegg this season. Played one Flegg game in 2024 as an 18 year old. Also played 3 Flegg games last year. Plays lock or prop. My guess is that he starts at lock and then moves to prop once Dellow comes up mid-season.

Looks to have grown a bit over the off season. Was never small but looked small-ish against the older boys in Flegg.

Signed until the end of 2027.

Would certainly appear that Gabrael is getting reps in on the right
I think that's a reach.

He's running a drill, and it's on the left anyway.

Everyone runs drills on both sides. If you are just saying that because Iro is defending him in a drill it means he is training at right centre... then here is BHU playing right wing (or maybe centre if SS has jammed in).

Won't make a great right winger if he keeps passing left to right.
