Official Newtown Jets + Sharks Pathways 2026

Also - Flegg coach is stealing my material.

Grantham in at right centre for Williams.

Good move imho.
I'll be down at the Sharks V Tigers game on Sunday and I am going to do all I can to watch the Flegg game beforehand.

Looks like they have some good players there to watch in addition to Grantham. The fullback goes alright from what I have heard and also Prestyn Laine-Sietu who I have watched before. Added to this you've got Whalebone, Tannous, Cacciotti, and Tom Dellow, all supposed future superstars.

Should still be a good match up with the Tigers as they sit 3rd in the table to our 4th.

@Sharks NRL Prospects do you know any of the Tigers players?

Only Phoenix Godinet. He was in the Aussie Schoolboys.

The Sharks have a really strong team. They have the 3 young guys up (Dellow, Lester, Grantham) and everyone else is either a 2nd year Flegg player and/or was poached from elsewhere. Cacciotti right now is the best player by a country mile though. Too good for Flegg imo. Will be a full time Jets player by the end of the year and will take Berrell's spot next year.

Fullback is an interesting one. Sandy is a dangerous player, but Lester seems to have more hype around him, and he was one of the best on ground in the games he played.

Harper named for the Pirates. Also Owen Hromow.

As usual I would expect this to change a bit with some Jets players dropping down on gameday.

6-4 to Wests at Half Time. Vea’ila scored with some nice footwork from a close range scrum (the Katoa move)

Ison badly outpaced by a Wests player getting to a kick. Wests up 12-4. Just a reminder he has a way to go

Ordinary result. Looked pretty flat, and every time we made a break it seemed to get called back for a forward pass or a penalty. Missed Hohepa Puru, and I hate seeing Ford sitting on the bench most of the game (he came on with about 25 to go, Pollard to hooker and then Pollard replaced by Berrell). Berrell sin binned at the end for tackling the kicker, he knew he stuffed up

Did Ison play for 80 mins?

Newtown were disgraceful today

Magpies are one of the worst teams in cup

Yeah it was frustrating. They created chances but got called back over and over.

They weren't great but also didn't get the rub of the green. I thought the obstruction call on the one where Williams was away was really soft the and Magpies first try was a blatant obstruction.

Jersey Flegg. Really good game so far.

13th minute Gray scores out wide.
Granthum doing the kicking, fails to convert from wide out.

4-0 Sharks.
