The Flegg team are stacked this year. They embarrassed the Roosters. Pretty much the whole team are second year players, guys poached from elsewhere or guns who have come up from SG Ball. Lester and Dellow were both great on the weekend. Cooper Hannay is looking huge. Jai Davies is back to being a force. Really good signs for that whole team.

Cacciotti is the best player on that team currently. Only a matter of time before he goes up to the Jets. They need a hooker too. Since Berrell has been in and out they have had Hohepa, Wilson and Rajab all get a go - with mixed results.

I don't know the status of Aaron Keppie - who started games in Flegg last season as an SG Ball aged player but hasn't appeared in a game yet this season. It could be that he is injured and Cacciotti will go up once he returns (Just guessing though; he could have signed elsewhere).

Weird draw in the NSW Cup and Flegg this year. Not just those crazy round 1 byes. This week the Jets, Bears and Magpies all have their SECOND bye in round 7 and don't get another one.. The Knights don't have their first bye until round 18.

Similar in Flegg. Tigers have their second bye in round 7. The Raiders don't get one until round 18, and then bizarrely have their second bye the following week. Must be some scheduling/venue issue they had to work around.

They have reduced the amount of overall games from 24 to 21. Thats why there’s all these byes now. Why, I don’t know.
Yeah - they are also trying to align NSW Cup and Flegg with NRL where they can, so we get some weird situations like this.

It's a shame, the Byes are the main weekends I'd be keen to catch a Jets game... I understand it's easier for the clubs and players though if everyone knows they have a week off and can book a holiday etc.

Nikora Williams back in Flegg this week (Jets have a bye) at the expense of Elijah Paea - who goes to 18th man.

I don't Williams will he will mind the "demotion" given it includes a free trip to Fiji :D

Hopefully we see Williams back on the Jets next week. Paea was also very strong in Flegg and deserves to be back in the team.

So, turns out one of my dads drinking mates at the pub is Scott Flemming, bit of random info

Ison and Niwhai Puru back.

Nikora Williams back to Flegg

Both games at Henson, 4pm Flegg and 6pm Jets, good idea for Anzac Day to avoid a clash with NRL, and maybe get a solid crowd

I was hoping Williams could keep that spot over Nadenic.

Cullum Grantham also named on the Flegg bench in place of Jai Camilleri.

A new name we haven't seen before Jabiri Mack has been added to the extended bench for Flegg. He is a prop/second rower who played for the Ipswich Jets U19's last year. He was in the junior PNG team and I believe was previously Titans contracted. I think he is still only turning 19 this year, so quite young for Flegg.

No Taj Ford for the Jets (went off injured last game).

Also Sam McCullough not named.

Pirates play their first game this weekend. They should name their team list in the coming days. In that comp it often comes out later in the week and can change a lot on gameday.

Plenty of nickname potential for Mack

Dykes playing #6 for Dogs, looks like he played one game at fullback and a couple at five-eighth so far, hasn’t been setting the world on fire. 8 fantasy points last game. But good to see him back, sure he will improve
I haven't watched any of his games but have checked out the highlights. Looks like he has moved around a bit. Shifted to 6 mid-game in that one were he started at fullback. Also in the other two he played one on the left and one on the right.

Looks to be moving well but might take a while to get back in some good form. Great to see him back healthy.
