Official Newtown Jets + Sharks Pathways 2026

it mentions in the article he's nearing the end of his rehab although it seems he went backwards before the trials.. he must have flared something up preseason
They said just before the trials he had a bit of a set back. From memory, it may not have been related to the ACL, or if it was it wasnt too serious.

They are just taking it extra cautious.

if i remember right it was swelling on the other knee ?

So Hohepa is dropped and playing hooker?

Strange reward for a good performance last week.

I realise things a bit different with Wilton and Hiroti back, and it gets him more game time. But still... I don't really understand Fitz's thinking. Maybe Hohepa was too creative last week compared to the game plan... might not have done enough 4th tackle settlers...

Jets lost 20-12. It was 14-12 for some time, but Storm scored again in the last minute.

I only skimmed through it. Puru did start as dummy half (WTF again). Taj Ford had some nice touches including a try assist and try involvement.

Nice scrum move by Simmonds with Sandy scoring untouched. We got good field position after crunching tackle from Alex Challenor forced an error

Sandy drops downtown kick, Storm score next set. Sharks lead 12-4. 16 mins to go

Storm incoming weather wise

Impressive win. Storm blitzed the comp last season. Sharks players really put their bodies on the line. Williams might be a bit of a grub but love to see how he fights for everything. PLS doesn’t stand out as much but has a lot of impact
