Official Newtown Jets + Sharks Pathways 2026

yea spotted a few like setefano sele but im still filthy with the lack of effort towards a teamlist. hopefully pharell grey lines up for the jets
The reason being is because in the first trial last year over 30 players played with a different team team running out in each third. Iam told it will be very similar today. Too many players playing, too confusing to put out a standard team list.

Not to mention that they may not have 30 different jersey numbers available. Often you see two guys in the same number or possibly even players give their jersey to a different guy in the break.

i understand that there was a jersey #45 half fallen off. still i thought it might be a bit more organised

The BarTV app needs some development work. Was hoping they’d be improvements since last year but it’s still jaggy when you try and skip to sections

I think it has improved. Still some wrinkles, but my experience this year so far has been a lot better.

I might use it a little differently though. I cast to an Apple TV and use the remote to go back or forward. Works well.

I’ve also found that if it does get laggy it helps to just sit a minute or so behind the live feed.

This Hill bloke is putting on his best possible show. And good finish by Whalebone. 42-16

Edit: actually that one was more Whalebone

I do that too but remote doesn’t work for me

One thing I’ve noticed is that for the remote to work I need to have the BarTV app running in the foreground all the times. If I lock the phone screen or have the app in the background to look at safari or whatever then the remote won’t work.

Cant you download the Bar App onto your Apple TV so you dont need to cast?

No BarTV app for Apple TV.

Also no app for QPlus TV in case anyone else is wondering.

Casting the only option. As I said it works fine as long as the app is in the foreground.

Based on watching every minute of Sharks footy in the last 2 weekends I’ll say…

- Cacciotti is physically ready for cup. Nothing left to learn in Flegg
- Alex Challenor is the most impressive player under 21. Will play Cup this season
- Pollard still a mixed bag overall but some positive signs. Has improved his contract in defence.
- SG Ball are very underwhelming, especially some of the “star” players. Liam Challenor needs to do the majority of kicking.
- Peter Taateo is an animal
- Jason Lavender definitely first in line for left edge at the Jets
- Need to find a spot for Taj Ford. Too good to be in third grade
- Wardrobe should start in the halves for Flegg over Sait or Simmonds.

Didn't realize how young Challenor was till you said it in the other thread. He's super impressive. Was hitting hard and making just as much if not more of an impact than some of the middles 3 or more years his senior.

How would you fit Ford into the jets side?
