Simple, he’s more **** than Goodwin.
When he is less **** than Goodwin he will get picked ahead of Goodwin.
Not like he’s come fresh from international level play, he had a bad injury and a lot of time off and can’t get any practice games.
Morris isn’t in the position to be putting players into the side just in case they are better.

I still have faith in the bloke be it maybe not this season but I hope he’s around next. Love the idea of having a aerial target on the wing to keep other wingers honest and focused , enjoy watching toupo pluck em out of the air to score For roosters on nothing but a kick and hope play.
Cause they at one stage had 20 players available. You would think they would take whatever they can get.

The issue is that you can’t have a bloke out there who is only good at one thing. Nene has always been a suspect defender and had suspect hands. Possibly getting a try off a bomb every other week isn’t enough to warrant picking a guy who is a fair chance to cost you two.
If he’s in the team - bombs away - but don’t pick him over someone else because he can score off a bomb.

The pass back from the bomb for the try was pretty awesome. His colossal frame closed the door on anyone who wanted to interfere with the outcome.

yea that was good to see, don't see enough good aerial play from this sharks team. it wasn't a perfect tracey kick but a decent one and nene got himself into a good position for it out muscling those around him
