Brown will be picked again. The only change could be maybe Arona out for Taga or Lewis depending whose fit.

Flanno has in the past done the ol, drop a winger after a loss.

usually takes a few losses though.

Still, here's to hoping.

(He actually got dropped after the next match where Manly's Jorge Taufua destroyed him but point taken)

:good:

Would be happy if he was just back up but to think that Gagan is in reserves and Val Holmes who should be gettng experience whenever possible are both being held back because of him is a joke.

He was crap last year and crap last week.

I don't think he was crap last year. He's not a crap player, just should be used as depth. He's much better depth than guys like Stapo.

Yeah that is definitely more fair, still very dissapointed that really talented juniors are continuing to be held back.

Agree, I don't it hate Brown bur surprise surprise looks like he has been chosen again, so really hope he plays well on the day. I also would love to see some of the young talent given a go.

In fact I hope like heck the whole team lifts several gears from last weeks effort. Clearly our right side defence very very rarely get any decent ball.

Just an amusing comment at the Sharks game last Sunday from my 22 yo daughter who doesn't follow the game closely but enjoys it
"a bit".

It was the first game I've taken her to in about 3 or 4 years... maybe more. At that previous game at Endeavour Field years ago
Mitch Brown was named at (I think) fullback to cover an injury. I said in front of her at that time "Oh FFS.... Mitch Brown at fullback?
He couldn't catch cold naked in Alaska!" and then added "Ben Ross would have a better chance of catching the ball" ( sarcasm).

He went on to drop 3 or maybe 4 bombs at fullback during the game.

On Sunday, after 3 or 4 years without going to a game, when his name was called out pre-game in the team announcements she said....
"Oh not THAT IDIOT Mitch Brown again! Is he STILL playing for us? Where's Ben Ross?"

Just struck me funny.

I dont after one game of seeing his pathetic roster even if he wins the next game I want to see the bake of him, Flanno that is or should we say Ricky Stuart 2.0

I watched another replay of where Wighton brought him down, he was carrying the ball in his right arm, he didn't even try to fend off Wighton with his left hand.

FFS Because fending someone diving full-stretch from behind your hips is a thing now.

Yes I agree. I thought at first Holmes would have scored but Wighton is fast and would probably have got Holmes as well. Also there were two Canberra players coming over in cover that could have also made the tackle.

you can't say he definitely would have, yeah there is probably a high change he would of but you dont know for sure

I reckon with the fact wighton was heading in with pace a good right foot step could have beaten him
